Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools is in the process of planning its budget for the upcoming school year and will host a town hall meeting to discuss financial plans.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 29, beginning at 6 p.m., in Room F211 (old lecture hall) at Prior Lake High School in Savage.
The district is projecting a financial shortfall in the next two school years following the failure of last fall’s referendum.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Budget priorities and the planning process
- Current enrollment trends
- Five-year financial forecast for the district
The meeting is open to the public and will be recorded for later viewing on the district’s website.
