Twelve senior athletes from Prior Lake High School signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, February 5.
The NLI is a document used to indicate a student-athlete’s commitment to participate at an NCAA college or university. The athletes that signed are:

- Bree Holmes – Softball – University of Wisconsin, La Crosse
- Liev Jacquemart – Football – University of Wisconsin, La Crosse
- Zach Johnson – Baseball – Bethel University
- Natalie Kuboushek – Swimming – University of Northern Iowa

Nordic skiing
Prior Lake Girls Nordic Ski Team took second place in the Section 1 Nordic Championship at Hyland Park Reserve in Bloomington on Tuesday, Feb. 4. In the pursuit race, Brooke Marquardt placed fifth overall for the Lakers, Sophia Basile took eighth, Eliana Reckmeyer placed 12th, Sarah Rich 20th and Samantha Rich 23rd. Kate Haus and Katelyn Leclair took fourth in the team sprint. The team will compete in the 2025 Nordic State Meet at Giants Ridge on February 12-13.
