Feb. 23, 1965
The Indianhead Council Order of the Arrow Indian Dancers will perform Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 23 in the High School auditorium. Sponsor of the event is the Prior Lake Boy Scout troop 331.
The Prior Lake Lakers basketball team traveled to Simley Friday night and edged the Spartans 56-52 in overtime for the Missota Conference championship. At the end of the regulation time the score was 50-50. During the overtime period Theis, Engel and Tieben each connected for a total of 6 points and the victory. The Lakers wound up the season with a 9-1 conference record and a 12-4 season record.

Feb. 25, 1985
A Clarion AM-FM cassette tape deck was reported stolen from a car owned by a man living on St. Paul Avenue.

Laker Chad LeMair captured the 105 pound wrestling title in regional competition with an 8-6 victory over Worthington’s Toby Funk and will advance to the state tournament.
From the Senior Corner: The Human Services bus goes to downtown Minneapolis on the first Wednesday of each month. The bus also goes to Southdale Shopping Center on the third Wednesday of each month; pickup is at City Hall. Seniors can shop locally on Thursdays and the bus will pick everyone up at their home around 10 a.m. Betty McKinley is the bus driver.

Feb. 26, 2005
The Prior Lake Police Department reported that two snowmobiles and two all-terrain vehicles went through the ice beneath the Wagon Bridge in the past week. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
Prior Lake City Council members reviewed design concepts for both a new city hall and police station during its regular meeting. Plans were submitted by Wold Architects and construction was expected to begin in 2006.
