World Down Syndrome Day was celebrated at Twin Oaks Middle School on March 21.
The free family event included games, prizes, crafts, music, face painting and food. The celebration is held annually in many communities to educate and encourage others to value people with Down Syndrome.
Sponsors of the event included Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools Community Education, the City of Prior Lake Parks and Recreation Department and the Prior Lake-Savage Optimist Club.
