Theodore Anthony Pahl was born on Aug. 13, 1945 to Benjamin P. and Marie A. (Bucek) Pahl in Bloomington, Minn. “Teddy Bear” was a well-loved, kind man that left this earth for a heavenly place with his Lord and Savior. All who knew him had only kind things to say about Ted.
He was very dedicated to his family and friends. He was well respected and knowledgeable about anything mechanical, having the ability to repair anything and give good advice to others who needed his help. He was known for his good sense of humor which attracted others to himself, making many friends along the way.
Ted was a hard worker and never could sit still, always finding something that needed attention. He drove semi for a number of years but his main job was shipping manager at Terex and he recently worked at Cuda.
Ted enjoyed fishing as his favorite sport, although he wouldn’t turn down a good hunting trip either. He was an avid, lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan!
Ted cherished his wife and best friend, Maradee. They enjoyed all their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and they were the best reason for getting up in the morning.
A man who loves everyone and everyone loved this man! Ted will be missed but left us with many good memories. We will smile when we think of him. May he rest in peace.
Grateful for having shared in Ted’s life are his devoted wife, Maradee Pahl; his children, Tammy (Pete) Durden of Eden Prairie, Pennie (Bruce) Kohls of Shakopee, Tim (Lisa) Pahl of Watertown, SD, Jason (Jenny) Pahl of Watertown, SD and Tony (Alyssa) Pahl of Watertown, SD; his siblings, Nick (Judy) Pahl of Burnsville, Ben (Gladys) Pahl of Watertown, SD, Monie (Bernie) Roehning of Savage, Ernie (Lynn) Pahl of St. Paul, IN, Faith (Ed) Groff of Prior Lake, Charity (Vern) Kleve of Howard Lake, and Tammy (Tom) Marchessault of Prior Lake; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Robert Burrows of Hoveland, and Ed Johnstone of Hudson, WI.
