Prior Lake Rotary, in partnership with Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools, will host the fourth annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration on Monday, Jan. 20.
The free community event will be held at Prior Lake High School from 10 a.m. to noon and include a variety of activities.
Performances by the choirs from Prior Lake High School and Glendale Elementary School are scheduled. Keynote speaker will be Alex Kraft who will deliver a message about the power of stories in bringing people together. Student presentations will honor King’s legacy, and winners of the “I Have a Dream” poetry contest will be recognized.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage in guided table discussions and enjoy samples of multicultural foods following the program.
