The Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce named its top business and business person for 2024 at its annual dinner banquet held Jan. 15 at The Wilds Golf Club.
Brad Hanson, owner of Profinishers Auto Body, was named “Business Person of the Year,” while Justina’s Pet Sitting was selected as “Business of the Year.”
Chamber members traditionally nominate local businesses at the end of each year to be considered for the honors, and oftentimes include rationale for submitting their choice.

Comments submitted as part of Hanson’s nomination included: “Brad embodies what it means to be a Prior Lake business owner. He truly cares about our community and ensures his team does the same. As an active member of PriorNet and an ambassador, Brad looks for ways to support other local businesses by either visiting them, referring them, or both. He cares about his clients and works hard to see that they are properly taken care of.”
This was said about Justina’s Pet Sitting: “This company continues to grow and is an active member of the Chamber community. Setting up and organizing the dog section for Prior Lake Days was a huge contribution to the event. You only need to read this company’s testimonials and talk to clients to know this company is exceptional in every service they provide.”
Other nominees for “Business Person of the Year” honors were: Holly Bozaich, Jennifer Hiltunen, Katrina Post, Dan Stanley, Savannah Tanner, Kathy Young and Bill Zimbinski. Those contending for “Business of the Year” honors included Laker Promotions, Morgan Family Dental, Mr. Steam Clean and Stanley & Wencl.
