Embrace the magic of winter on a leisurely evening hike with a historical interpreter under the full moon on Wednesday, Feb. 12, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cleary Lake Regional Park in Prior Lake.
The February moon is known by a variety of names including Snow Moon, Winter Moon, Bear Moon, Raccoon Moon and Hunger Moon. Why do we have special names for the full moon? Gather around a campfire for s’mores and learn the legendary explanations.
There is a cost to participate and reservations are required. Call (763) 559-6700 to make a reservation. This program is open to all ages. Children 11 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
