Students at Five Hawks Elementary School will see performances by Climb Theatre that focus on recycling.
“The Gift Cat” will be performed for students in kindergarten through second grade. “Trash!” will be seen by students in grades three through six and will focus on landfills, recycling and sorting of waste. Scheduled for Feb. 21, both programs are intended to teach students about proper handling of trash, organics and recyclable materials.
The interactive programs are sponsored by the Scott County Soil and Water Conservation District and are available at no charge to schools within the county.
‘Annie Jr.’ coming to Twin Oaks
“Annie Jr. The Musical” will be presented by Prior Lake-Savage middle school students on Feb. 13 through 15.
The show will be held in the Twin Oaks Middle School auditorium on these dates and times:

- Thursday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m.
- Friday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

No discounts or passes will be accepted. Attendees should enter through the lower lobby doors.

Honor rolls released
Prior Lake High School, along with Twin Oaks and Hidden Oaks middle schools, have released their second quarter honor rolls to recognize student achievement.
More than 1,950 students made the PLHS honor roll (click on the link for a full list), which celebrates students who achieved a 3.0 grade point average or higher.
The honor rolls at Twin Oaks Middle School and Hidden Oaks Middle School celebrate students who achieved a GPA between 3.0-3.49. The Principal’s Honor roll at each school acknowledges students with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
