This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between Feb. 12-18. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. 

Feb. 12

Accident: At 7:51 a.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision at Mystic Lake Drive and 140th Street. No injuries were reported.

Accident: At 11:35 a.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 13 at Rustic Road. No injuries were reported.

Fraud: At 2:10 p.m., police responded to a report of fraud at the 14700 block of Cherry Court. The case remains under investigation.

Accident: At 8 p.m., police responded to a multi-vehicle collision on 140th Street at McKenna Road. No injuries were reported.

Feb. 13

Accident: At 4:46 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Marschall Road at 170th Street. No injuries were reported.

Accident: At 8:29 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Duluth Avenue at Anna Trail. No injuries were reported.

Feb. 14

Theft: At 10:09 a.m., police responded to Mystic Lake Hotel for a reported theft of property.

Accident: At 2:42 p.m., police responded to Mystic Lake Casino for a two-vehicle collision. No injuries were reported.

Fraud: At 2:44 p.m., police responded to the 16100 block of Lakeside Avenue for a report of online fraud.

Accident: At 2:58 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Bobcat Trail. No injuries were reported.

Accident: At 3:04 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision on the 16600 block of Five Hawks Avenue. No injuries were reported.

Fraud: At 3:58 p.m., police responded to the 14100 block of Commerce Avenue for a report of fraud.

Accident: At 10:04 p.m., police responded to a single-vehicle collision at Mystic Lake Casino. No injuries were reported.

Accident: At 10:13 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 13 at 140th Street. No injuries were reported.

Feb. 15

Drugs: At 9:29 a.m., police responded to Mystic Lake Casino for a report of drug possession. The case has been sent for formal charges.

Accident: At 9:43 a.m., police responded to a single-vehicle collision on Wilds Parkway at Fox Run. No injuries were reported.

Assault: At 1:18 p.m., police responded to the 4100 block of Willowwood Street. Matthew Bryan Capko, 42, Monticello, was arrested for Domestic Assault-Firearms Used and Domestic Assault-Strangulation.

Robbery: At 7:02 p.m., police responded to the 16600 block of Five Hawks Avenue. A 16-year-old boy from Prior Lake was arrested for First Degree Aggravated Robbery and Second Degree Assault-Dangerous Weapon.

Feb. 16

Traffic Criminal: At 4:08 a.m., police responded to Mystic Lake Casino. Shontrell Laronn Bland, 29, Minneapolis, was arrested for gross misdemeanor DWI, Obstructing Legal Process-Interfering with a Peace Officer, Fourth Degree Driving While Impaired and Carrying a Pistol While Under the Influence of Alcohol.

Domestic disturbance: At 12:45 p.m., police responded to the 17000 block of Adelmann Street for an in-progress domestic disturbance.

Theft: At 6:07 p.m., police responded to Mystic Lake Casino for a reported theft. The case is under investigation.

Feb. 17

Accident: At 2:32 p.m., police responded to a vehicle-turkey collision on Panama Avenue at Village Lake Drive. No human injuries were reported.

Theft: At 4:04 p.m., police responded to the 15900 block of Jordan Avenue for a reported theft. The case is under investigation.

Accident: At 6:35 p.m., police responded to a collision on the 1300 block of Crossings Boulevard. No injuries were reported.

Theft: At 9:12 p.m., police responded to Little Six Casino for a reported theft. The matter has been sent for review of charges.

Feb. 18

Theft: At 11:33 a.m., police responded to the 16700 block of Markley Lake Court for a reported theft of a license plate.

Accident: At 11:51 a.m., police responded to a vehicle crash on Eagle Creek Avenue at Highway 13. No injuries were reported; case is pending processing.
