Scooter’s Coffee, 15825 Franklin Tr. in Prior Lake will donate a percentage of all sales made on Monday, March 24 to the Laker Educational Foundation.
The foundation is a community-based volunteer organization that provides funding to support projects that enhance learning and foster growth within Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools. Examples of grants provided in the past have included purchase of student keyboards, a speech therapy station, science lab supplies, a 3D printer and library books.
Grants totaling more than $10,000 were distributed in the spring of 2024, and more projects will be funded through the grant program later this year. Donations from the public are also being accepted by the foundation.
