Mark Steven Brown, age 64, of Prior Lake, passed away on March 11, 2025.
Mark was born on June 27, 1960 in Minneapolis, the son of Harvey and Ann Brown. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jodi (Goodmanson) Brown; daughters: Cari (Nicholas) Thunker, Lindsay Brown Menz, and Grace (Cohlby) Hernandez; sister, Naomi Brown; grandchildren: Jackson, Emilie, Claire and Hank Thunker; Harper, Aftyn and Remleigh Menz; and Esperanza Brown; mother-in-law, Jean Goodmanson; brothers and sisters-in-laws; nieces and nephews; and many friends who loved him.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Dennis Goodmanson, and sister-in-law, Kimberly Momquist.
Mark’s life work was as a skilled carpenter and business consultant, but his true calling was discovering a mission field within his own community. Driven by his deep compassion and genuine love for serving others, he dedicated himself to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those around him.
A memorial service will be held at River Valley Church, 1350 Crossings Blvd., Shakopee, on Sunday, April 6, beginning at 3 p.m. A reception will be held immediately following the service.
