Area residents are invited participate in Cleary Lake Regional Park’s “Signs of Spring Nature Journaling” class scheduled for 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2.
During the family program, forests and other park landscapes will be explored to deepen nature observation and scientific inquiry skills while looking for budding plants and listening to birds sing. Attendees will be encouraged to sketch, write and capture personal reflections of the park to take home with them.
No experience in journaling is required and all materials will be provided. The program is free and open to all ages; children 11 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Cleary Lake Regional Park is operated by the Three Rivers Park District and is located at 18106 Texas Ave, Prior Lake.
