The Prior Lake News Compass will host a community update meeting on Tuesday, April 15, which will include information on volunteer opportunities to help produce our digital newspaper and weekly newsletter.
The meeting will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Twin Oaks Middle School Media Center, 15860 Fish Point Road, Prior Lake.
Since publishing began in late December, website traffic and requests to receive the weekly newsletter have grown significantly. The response from local readers has been overwhelmingly positive.
The PLNC is operated as a nonprofit corporation with the goal of continuing to expand news content for local readers. At this time, more volunteers are needed in these areas: news reporting, photography, advertising sales, marketing and fundraising.
Anyone interested in learning more about the PLNC and volunteer opportunities is invited to attend.
