Boys tennis
The top singles and doubles players found success at South Suburban Conference foe Burnsville on Tuesday, April 8, leading Prior Lake to a 5-2 victory.
Tarun Gopi topped Grant Blackbourn in the No. 1 singles match, 6-1, 7-5, while Jack Williams and Sam Williams also got wins at Nos. 2 and 3 singles. In doubles play, Dallas Handevidt and Lukas Aidas secured a 6-2, 6-4 win for Prior Lake against the top Blaze pairing of Elliot Malacha and Nick Vitez. No. 2 pair August Adams and Adam Greengrass weathered a tough start to earn a 0-6, 6-3, 6-2 win over Sam Crawford and Soren Leafblad.
The Lakers return to the court on Thursday against Apple Valley at PLHS.
