Troy Allen Jackson, 61, of Prior Lake, passed away unexpectedly on March 31, 2025.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Jackson; his four siblings; his children, Christopher Wendt and Chase Johnson; and his grandson, Logan Wendt.

He worked in the concrete field for over 50 years and was known for his excellent work and his jokes that would make people laugh. He was a master at the game of Risk and loved an occasional round of cribbage.

He worked hard so he could play hard. He loved hunting, whether it be with his buddies in northern Minnesota, out in Wyoming and even in Africa. He will be missed by many.

A celebration of life is scheduled for June 19, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Shakopee VFW, 1201 Third Ave. E., Shakopee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to his favorite foundation, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Https://www.rmef.org.
