Vehicles of all sizes and shapes that are used by the Prior Lake Public Works Department will be on display during the May 20 event.
For the second straight year, Mother Nature is getting in the way of a beloved community event.
The city’s “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck” event, scheduled for 4-7 p.m. this evening, has been canceled due to inclement weather.
The event was to be held at the Prior Lake Maintenance Center and allows children to explore various city vehicles and learn more about public works.
For those who want their child to have the chance to check out some heavy machinery, the city has a sign-up form to have a vehicle swing by local Night to Unite events on Aug. 5. The sign up form can be found here.
