The Prior Lake Rotary’s Lakefront Music Fest, now in the 16th year of hosting, will feature national rock artists on Friday, July 11, and country artists on Saturday, July 12. As in years past, the event will be held at Lakefront Park.
Foreigner will headline on July 11 with Loverboy and 38 Special also on stage that night. Miranda Lambert is the headliner on July 12, following performances by Randy Houser and Dillon Carmichael.
Due to the large number of people attending the event, area residents should expect traffic delays on those dates. Ridgemont Avenue and Hope Street are expected to be closed both nights from approximately 10:15 to 11 p.m. to accommodate guests leaving the park. During the closure, public safety vehicles will be able to access all homes in the area, if necessary.
The two-day festival is produced by members of the Prior Lake Rotary Club. Proceeds from the event are administered by the Prior Lake Rotary Foundation, which supports educational, humanitarian and environmental activities in the Prior Lake community, nationally and worldwide. Proceeds will also be shared with programs affiliated with Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools, including the Laker Athletic Booster Club (LABC), Patron of the Arts, and the Parent, Teacher, Child Organization (PTC), along with other local non-profit organizations.
