This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between June 24 and July 1. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
June 24
Suspicious activity: Police investigated a report of suspicious activity at 12:04 a.m. at a business located on Dakota Street. A similar report was received at 5:19 p.m. from someone living near 160th Street and Fish Point Road.
Assault: Police were called at 9:42 a.m. to Green Heights Trail and arrested a 27-year-old Plymouth man for aggravated assault.
Fraud: Police received a call at 11:12 a.m. after a Willowwood Street resident reported a case of fraud. The case is under investigation.
Animal: Police responded at 2:46 p.m. to a report of a loose animal on Shore Crest Drive.
Fraud: A resident living on 150th Street reported a case of fraud to police at 9:02 p.m. The case is under investigation.
Medical: Police assisted with two medical calls on June 24. One occurred on Mystic Lake Boulevard, and the other on Majestic Lane.
June 25
DWI: A 43-year-old Norwood man was arrested at 12:50 a.m. on Wilds Parkway for gross misdemeanor second degree DWI, refusing to test required by search warrant, violating driver’s license restriction, and open bottle possession.
Accident: Police were called to an accident at the roundabout located on Eagle Creek Avenue and Arcadia Street at 8:45 a.m. Vehicles were driven by a Shakopee woman and a Plymouth man. No injuries were reported.
Medical: Police assisted with seven medical calls on June 25. Calls came from these locations with call times listed: Dakota Street, 2:07 a.m.; Hillside Circle, 2:50 a.m.; Lori Road, 5:34 a.m.; West Oak Point Drive, 1:45 p.m.; Fountain Hills Drive, 8:40 p.m.; Brookside Lane, 9:39 p.m.; Fountain Hills Drive, 10:24 p.m.
June 26
Fraud: Police received a report of identity theft at 8:48 a.m. from a resident living on Gateway Street.
Fraud: A resident living on Regal Pass called police at 12:58 p.m. to report fraudulent activity on their social media account. There was no monetary loss to the reporting party.
Accident: No injuries were reported at 1:11 p.m. from a two-car accident that happened at Fairway Heights Road and Jeffers Pass that involved a 76-year-old Prior Lake woman and a 32-year-old man from Eagan.
Theft: Police received a theft report at 1:49 p.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard. A tablet was reportedly stolen and property was damaged.
Hazard: Police investigated a reported road hazard at 2:46 p.m. at 140th Street and Pike Lake Trail.
Accident: No damages or injuries were reported in an accident that occurred at 3:30 p.m. in the roundabout located at Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue.
Accident: Police were called to an accident that happened at 10:38 p.m. at Flandreau Trail and Mystic Lake Boulevard. Drivers were a 61-year-old St. Paul woman and a 56-year-old from Springdale, Ariz. No injuries were reported.
Medical: Police responded to six medical calls this day at these times and locations: Cates Street, 12:09 a.m.; Fountain Hills Drive, 1:04 a.m.; Cates Street, 12:28 p.m.; Glynwater Trail, 1:11 p.m.; Jeffers Parkway, 10:59 p.m.; and Hawk Ridge Road, 11:23 p.m.
June 27
Harassment: A Snell Court resident called police at 12:58 p.m. after receiving harassing phone calls.
Accident: An accident occurred at 4:58 p.m. near the Holiday Station on Duluth Avenue. The case is pending processing. No injuries were reported.
Hazard: Police went to the intersection of Highway 13 and 170th Street at 6:08 p.m. to clear a road hazard.
Theft: Police investigated the reported theft of a gold necklace valued at $800 from a residence on Sioux Trail.
Accident: Police were called at 9:41 p.m. to an accident on Highway 13 and Duluth Avenue that involved a 62-year-old man from Burnsville and an 18-year-old woman from Savage. No injuries were reported.
June 28
Theft: Police were called to Hastings Avenue to investigate a report of attempted shoplifting at 12:08 p.m. An off-duty officer confronted the suspect and the items were returned. The suspect was gone when police arrived.
Accident: A street sign was damaged on Sunset Trail by a vehicle around 6:36 p.m.
Animal: Police were called at 7:50 p.m. to a report of a loose animal at 140th Street and Pike Lake Trail.
Medical: Police assisted with two medical calls received this day. One was initiated at 1:23 a.m. on Oak Ridge Circle; the other came in at 8:43 a.m. at Park Nicollet Avenue.
June 29
Harassment: Police were called to McKenna Road at 5:54 a.m. following a report of a resident receiving harassing phone calls.
Medical: Police assisted with six medical calls received this day. Locations and times calls were initiated included: Credit River Road, 6:40 a.m.; church on Highway 13, 9:18 a.m.; Lakeside Avenue, 3:26 p.m.; Mystic Lake Boulevard, 3:37 p.m.; Jeffers Parkway, 6:30 p.m.; and Sunray Circle, 11:03 p.m.
June 30
Accident: Police were called to an accident that happened at 2:18 p.m. at the roundabout located at Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue. No injuries were reported.
Medical: Police assisted with two medical calls this day and responded to Tower Street at 12:10 p.m. and to Adelmann Street at 1:47 p.m.
July 1
Property damage: Police were called to Marsh Street at 7:50 p.m. to investigate a report of property damage.
Medical: Police assisted with four medical calls this day. Locations and times calls were initiated include the following: Credit River Road, 8:57 a.m.; Northwood Road, 4:12 p.m.; Spring Lake Road, 6:12 p.m.; and Jordan Avenue, 10:13 p.m.
