This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between July 1-8. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
July 1
Medical: Police assisted with two medical calls on this day. One occurred at 5:17 p.m. on Spring Lake Road; the other call was received at 10:13 p.m. on Jordan Avenue.
July 2
Harassment: Police were called to Quaker Trail at 12:05 p.m. after a report of electronic harassment was received.
Disturbance: A report of a verbal disturbance at Watzl’s Point Road and Red Oaks Road was received at 3:30 p.m.
Medical: Police assisted with four medical calls on this day, which included these locations and times: Waterfall Way, 4:37 p.m.; Boudin Street, 5:58 p.m.; Sunray Circle, 7:24 p.m.; and Wild Oaks Terrace, 11:37 p.m.
Harassment: A report of in-person harassment was made by a resident on Brunswick Avenue at 4:43 p.m.
Noise complaint: Police were called at 10:58 p.m. to investigate a noise complaint involving fireworks at Jeffers Pond Park.
July 3
Accident: No injuries were reported following a two-car accident that occurred at 11:10 a.m. near the Kwik Trip on Fish Point Road. Drivers included a 73-year-old Prior Lake woman and 35-year-old Minneapolis man.
Medical: Police assisted with three medical calls on that day. Locations and times were: Elm Avenue, 1:30 a.m.; Toronto Avenue, 2:18 p.m.; and at McKenna Crossing, 5:22 p.m.
Warrant: A 27-year-old Burnsville man was arrested at 2:23 p.m. for a gross misdemeanor warrant out of St. Louis County for criminal vehicular operation.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 3:35 p.m. near the intersection of Kent Street and Dewitte Avenue. Drivers were a 45-year-old woman from Savage and a 44-year-old Prior Lake man.
Accident: A report of an accident involving a motorcycle at the roundabout located at Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue was received by police at 4:20 p.m. Minnesota State Patrol processed the report.
Theft: Police were called at 7:39 p.m. to the Prior Lake VFW on Main Avenue to investigate a report of theft from a vehicle. The case is pending processing.
July 4
Medical: Police assisted with four medical calls that were received that day. Locations and times were: Mystic Lake Boulevard, 7:57 a.m.; Main Avenue, 4:17 p.m.; Pixie Point Circle, 6:21 p.m.; and Calmut Avenue at 10:35 p.m.
Hazard: A Willowwood resident called police at 12:33 p.m. to report a gas/chemical hazard.
Accident: No injuries were reported following a two-car accident near Mystic Lake Drive and 140th Street at 9:06 p.m. Vehicles were driven by a 16-year-old girl and a 46-year-old woman. Both were residents of Shakopee.
July 5
Theft: A resident of Island View Circle reported a theft to police at 9:57 a.m.
Medical: Police were called to Mystic Lake Drive at 11:55 a.m. to assist with a medical emergency.
Fraud: Police were called to Tower Street at 2:20 p.m. after receiving a report of fraud. The case is pending processing.
Noise complaint: A noise complaint coming from the area of Willowwood Street and Simpkins Circle was received at 10:17 p.m.
Accident: Two vehicles were involved in an accident that occurred on Mystic Lake Boulevard. Drivers were a 33-year-old New Brighton woman and a 68-year-old man from Minneapolis. No injuries were reported.
July 6
Medical: Police assisted with three medical calls on this day. Locations and times include: McKenna Crossing, 3:01 a.m.; Carriage Lane, 3:28 p.m.; and Deerfield Drive, 6:44 p.m.
Assault: Police were called to Franklin Trail at 4:30 a.m. after receiving a report of an assault. A 33-year-old man from Andover was arrested for misdemeanor fifth degree assault, gross misdemeanor third degree damage to property and gross misdemeanor theft.
Accident: A hit-and-run accident was reported on Greenway Avenue at 12:02 p.m.
July 7
Animal: A loose animal was reported at 5:52 a.m. near the Prior Lake Post Office.
Medical: Police assisted with two medical calls on this day. The locations and times included: Rolling Oaks Circle, 9:08 a.m. and Shannon Trail at 9:01 p.m.
Property damage: Police were called to investigate a report of property damage at 10:48 a.m. that occurred on Manor Road.
Accident: Police were called to 150th Street and Highway 13 at 12:49 p.m. to investigate a hit and run accident.
Accident: At 1:59 p.m., police responded to a report of a two-car accident at Highway 13 and 160th Street. Drivers were a 20-year-old man and a 49-year-old man. Both were Savage residents.
DWI: A 39-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested at 11:20 p.m. near the intersection of county roads 21 and 82 for third degree gross misdemeanor DWI, third degree gross misdemeanor DWI with one aggravating factor, and petty misdemeanor for failure to drive in a single lane.
July 8
Accident: No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 10:22 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue. Drivers were a 65-year-old Prior Lake woman and a 20-year-old Minnetonka woman.
Fraud: An Aspen Avenue resident filed a report of fraud at 11:49 a.m. The case is pending.
