The Prior Lake Players will present the Penguin Project’s production of “Annie Jr.” in December and the theatrical group is looking for artists, individuals with a disability and mentors to support artists throughout the run of the show.
The Penguin Project is a heartwarming, nationwide program through which young artists with special needs take the stage, supported by peer mentors, to create an inspiring theatrical experience. No experience is necessary. The goal is for all to have fun in a supportive environment and everyone can take center stage.
Rehearsals will begin in September, with the show going on stage in December. Questions about the program or becoming a mentor for one of the artists, should be emailed to secretary@plplayers.org.
Interested artists and mentors can register through Prior Lake Community Education here.
