This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between September 10-16, 2025. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
September 10
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Dakota Trail, 12:29 a.m.; Watersedge Trail, 6:40 a.m.; Deerfield Lane, 9:51 a.m.; Sunray Circle, 11:12 a.m.
Suspicious: An officer observed a male walking east on County Road 42 on the shoulder of the roadway at 2:18 a.m. The man said he was walking to Burnsville. He was offered and given a ride to the Burnsville border.
Property Damage: A Gateway Street resident reported to police at 9:25 a.m. that his vehicle was damaged, which included a shattered windshield, damage to a door handle and a broken steering column.
Theft: Personnel working at the Kwik Trip on Fish Point Road reported at 5:49 p.m. that an unknown male took multiple food items without paying.
September 11
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Rolling Oaks Circle, 9:04 a.m.; Flandrau Trail, 9:37 a.m.; Forsythe Road, 11:29 a.m.
Traffic: Police issued several warnings in the morning hours to drivers who disobeyed the “right lane must turn right” sign located on southbound Highway 13 and Candy Cove Trail.
Civil: A resident living on Stonebriar Court called police at 2:38 p.m. to report that the vehicle she recently purchased contained mold and the engine leaked oil. She was advised that the matter was civil in nature and needed to be handled through civil court.
Public Assist: Police were approached by a man on Mystic Lake Boulevard at 7:55 p.m. and asked what he needed to do to get arrested so he could be brought back to Bemidji. He was advised to take a bus.
Traffic Criminal: Police stopped a vehicle on Eau Claire Trail at 8:16 p.m. for failure to drive in a single lane. The driver was later booked into the Scott County Jail for third degree DWI.
September 12
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Grainwood Circle, 11:34 a.m.; Fish Point Road, 1:51 p.m.
Traffic: At 1:36 a.m., police observed a vehicle parked in the park located on Raymond Avenue with a driver who was asleep. He was advised of park hours.
Property Found: A resident living on Fairlawn Shores Trail reported finding a paddle board that had washed up on shore. Police looked up the registration number and called the owner who said she would retrieve the board.
Theft: Police received a report at 9:28 a.m. of theft and property damage to a private party’s vehicle that had been parked on Gateway Street.
September 13
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Martindale Street, 10:17 a.m.; Crownline Drive, 1:18 p.m.; Shepherd’s Path, 1:13 p.m.
Fire: Police officers assisted members of the Prior Lake Fire Department at 5:51 p.m. with a structure fire located on Kyle Way.
Assist: Police observed a vehicle with hazard lights on parked on the side of County Road 83 at 11:01 p.m. The driver said he was looking for his next Uber customer. He was advised by the officer of safer places to park.
September 14
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Shepherd’s Path, 4:52 a.m.; Peregrine Circle, 6:45 a.m.
Obscenity: Police received a report at 1:11 a.m. that two individuals were having relations in a vehicle parked on Main Avenue. Upon arriving, the officer observed a middle-aged male and female in the back seat. The windows were fogged and both parties were mostly clothed. Police determined the encounter was consensual and they were advised of the indecent exposure statute.
September 15
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Deerfield Drive, 6:11 a.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 3:19 p.m.; Franklin Trail, 4:23 p.m.; Northwood Road, 7:30 p.m.
Theft: Police responded at 9:57 p.m. to a report of a theft from a motor vehicle on Castlegate Way.
September 16
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Parkside Court, 10:24 a.m.
Suspicious: Police investigated a report of suspicious activity on Duluth Avenue at 7:12 a.m. They found two people sleeping in a vehicle. The parties said they had been making Door Dash deliveries late into the night and needed a place to sleep. They were advised to look for other accommodations in the future.
