This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between September 17 – 23, 2025. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
September 17
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Industrial Lane, 2:07 p.m.; Wilds Lane, 9:49 p.m.
Suspicious Vehicle: Police found a suspicious vehicle at Sand Point Beach at 10:54 p.m. involving a party who was advised about park hours. A verbal warning was issued.
Suspicious Vehicle: Police checked on several businesses in the late evening hours where they found unoccupied vehicles parked. Buildings were checked and found to be secured on North Berens Road, Fountain Hills Drive and Highway 13.
September 18
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Jeffers Parkway, 3:50 a.m.; Brooks Circle, 9:46 a.m.; Candlewood Lane, 1:49 p.m.
Rescue: Police were called at 1:03 p.m. to assist with an elevator rescue at a business located on Duluth Avenue.
Theft: A Jeffers Pass resident called police at 1:42 p.m. to report a theft. The case is pending.
Theft: Police received a call regarding a theft in progress on Green Heights Trail at 3:21 p.m. The case is under investigation.
Accident: An injury accident that occurred at Eagle Creek Avenue and Fish Point Road was reported to police at 6:54 p.m. The case is pending processing.
Suspicious: A report of smashed pumpkins being in the roadway on Spring Lake Road was made to police at 11:29 p.m.
September 19
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Tower Street, 11:32 a.m.; Willow Beach Trail, 8:59 p.m.; Credit River Road, 10:10 p.m.
Welfare Check: Police received a report at 2:56 a.m. of a person sleeping on the sidewalk located on Bluff Heights Trail. The person was found, was able to care for himself and walked home.
Accident: Police were called to an accident that occurred at 8:43 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 13 and 160th Street. No injuries were reported.
Warrant: Police conducted a traffic stop for an expired vehicle registration at 6:52 p.m. on Tintaocanku Drive. The driver did not have a driver’s license. He was found to have a warrant for theft that had been issued by Hennepin County and was arrested without incident. He was later booked into the Scott County Jail.
September 20
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Crownline Drive, 6:36 a.m.; Tower Street, 7:24 a.m.; Spring Lake Road, 8:09 p.m.
Suspicious: A resident of Anna Lane reported a suspicious parked vehicle with a person inside at 8:45 a.m. Police spoke to the driver who said he was sleeping before driving home and left shortly thereafter.
Accident: No injuries resulted from an accident that occurred at Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue at 12:37 p.m.
Accident: An accident involving the driver of an E-Moto bike and a pedestrian occurred at 1:12 p.m. near the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and Carriage Hills Parkway. Injuries were reported.
Property Damage: The owner of a business located on Anna Trail reported to police at 6:58 p.m. that an electronic keypad had been ripped off of the building and a door handle broken.
September 21
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Prairiegrass Drive, 12:19 a.m.; Woodside Road, 3:07 p.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 6:01 p.m.; Brunswick Avenue, 8:06 p.m.
Suspicious: Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle being parked on DeWitte Avenue at 12:07 a.m. They found two males fishing from the dock; they were advised.
Suspicious: While on routine patrol at 12:21 a.m., police located a vehicle with an open door parked near the intersection of Dove Court and Carriage Hills Parkway. Contact was made with the owner who indicated his wife had forgotten to shut the door as she was going inside. The party was advised of recent motor vehicle tampering incidents. It was confirmed that nothing was taken from the vehicle.
Aggravated Assault: A 47-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested at 11:28 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard for gross misdemeanor third degree assault involving substantial bodily harm, and misdemeanor domestic assault.
Traffic Criminal: A 34-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested near the intersection of County Road 21 and Texas Avenue at 11:38 p.m. for fourth degree driving while impaired, DWI, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .14, expired vehicle registration and failure to drive in a single lane.
September 22
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Highway 13, 9:02 a.m.; Station Place, 9:15 a.m.; Deerfield Drive, 5:18 p.m.; Creekside Circle, 6:26 p.m.; Dakota Street, 9:26 p.m.
Suspicious: A Crossandra Street resident reported at 4:40 a.m. that a suspicious vehicle had been idling and parked with lights left on. Upon arrival, police advised the party of park hours and recent thefts in the area.
Accident: No injuries were reported from an accident that occurred on Epperson Circle at 8:11 a.m.
Theft: A theft was reported to police at 11:43 a.m. that occurred on Glendale Avenue. The case is pending processing.
Road Hazard: Police received a report of a dead turtle at 5:03 p.m. near the intersection of Snell Lane and Credit River Road.
Theft: Police received a report of theft from a motor vehicle at 5:20 p.m. The incident occurred on Granite Court.
Order Violation: Police assisted in locating an Eden Prairie man for violating a harassment and restraining order. He was later booked into the Scott County Jail.
September 23
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical call with location and time noted: Gateway Street, 10:33 a.m.
Suspicious: Police investigated a call at 4:59 a.m. from a resident living near the intersection of Maple Trail and Rustic Road who noticed an idling vehicle that looked suspicious. A traffic stop was conducted and it was determined an Uber driver was picking up a client. The reporting person was advised of the outcome.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 10:42 a.m. near the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and Highway 13.
