The Prior Lake News Compass is approaching its first anniversary of providing LOCAL news for Prior Lake, and we will host a special event to show our appreciation to those who have helped us achieve this milestone.
We invite our loyal readers, volunteers and donors to join us on Tuesday, Oct. 21, for a free concert featuring the talents of Lakeside Big Band performing tunes from the Big Band-era. The group will play from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Prior Lake VFW. During musical breaks, founders of the PL News Compass will talk about how far we have come, thank those who have helped us along the way, answer questions from those in attendance and share what’s next for our nonprofit organization.
