This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between September 23-29, 2025. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
September 23
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: West Woodland Trail, 8:04 p.m.; Shepherd’s Path, 11:38 p.m.
Accident: Police investigated a report received at 10:42 a.m. of an electric scooter injury accident at Highway 13 and 160th Street that involved injuries.
Harassment: A Willowwood Street resident reported to police at 3:56 p.m. that they had been receiving harassing messages via text.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident involving two vehicles near the intersection of county roads 42 and 21. The incident was reported at 5:37 p.m.
Suspicious: A resident living near Waterfall Way and Wilds Drive called police at 6:50 p.m. to report a strange vehicle parked in the neighborhood. Police investigated and found one of the occupants lived in the neighborhood; the other was visiting.
Accident: Two vehicles collided at the roundabout located on Highway 13 and County Road 21 at 9:51 p.m. No injuries were reported.
September 24
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Blind Lake Trail: 5:41 a.m.; Fairlawn Shores Trail, 1:12 p.m.; Credit River Road, 4:07 p.m.; Shepherd’s Path, 11:43 p.m.
Found: A resident reported to police at 4:42 p.m. that a black bicycle was leaning against a tree located near Jeffers Parkway and McKenna Road for the past three days. Police located the bicycle, did a check on the serial number which came back clear. The bicycle was recorded as found property.
Suspicious: Police received a report at 6:54 p.m. of a possible homeless person living in a vehicle on River Birch Place. Police investigated and found they were parents of someone who lived in the area and were waiting for their child to arrive.
September 25
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Lyons Avenue, 8:58 a.m.; Mystic Lake Boulevard, 10:24 a.m.; Deerfield Drive, 10:42 a.m.; Martindale Street, 12:15 p.m.
Suspicious: A report of a suspicious vehicle being parked on River Birch Place was made to police at 6:58 a.m. The vehicle had been parked in the guest area of the neighborhood, and had left by the time police had arrived.
Accident: A two-vehicle accident that occurred near the intersection of Spring Lake Road and Northwood Road was reported at 11:21 a.m. Both were driving westbound and one car was rear-ended by the other.
Harassment: A parent living on Fish Point Road reported that two unknown teenage males riding bikes followed her son and was making fun of him. The incident occurred at 4:56 p.m.
Civil: Police were called at 5:39 p.m. to Wood Duck Trail to assist with a dispute between a landscaper and resident. Both parties were advised it was a civil matter.
September 26
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Adelmann Street, 9:59 a.m.; Jeffers Parkway, 11:19 a.m.; Pheasant Run Court, 1:09 p.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 4:10 p.m.; Deerfield Drive, 5:21 p.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 6:12 p.m.; Mystic Lake Boulevard, 9:55 p.m.
Suspicious: Police investigated a report of an older man coming into a building on Colorado Street and said he was looking for ballet shoes for a costume. The reporting party said the individual smelled of alcohol and cigarette smoke. He was asked to leave and complied.
Civil: A Tower Street resident called police at 2:43 p.m. to report that a family member had taken money out of a joint checking account without approval. The party was advised it was a civil matter since both parties were holders of the account.
Accident: No injuries resulted from an accident that was reported at 8:06 p.m. involving two vehicles traveling on County Road 42 near the County Road 83 intersection.
September 27
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Fish Point Road, 11:16 a.m.; Shepherd’s Path, 10:36 p.m.
Burglary: Police responded to a report of burglary on Dakota Street at 4:18 a.m. The case is under investigation.
Suspicious: A person called police at 1:33 p.m. and stated a female came up to him and said she had found unmarked graves. He asked the woman to follow him to the police department in her vehicle but went in a different direction and could not be located.
September 28
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Can Hdeska Circle, 1:08 p.m.; Simpkins Circle, 2:01 p.m.; Shepherd’s Path, 3:51 p.m.
September 29
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Harbor Place, 3:40 a.m.; Linden Circle, 2:29 p.m.; Franklin Trail, 2:33 p.m.; Tower Street, 4:43 p.m.; Franklin Trail, 7:22 p.m.
Lost: A Turner Drive resident filed a report at 12:21 p.m. with police after a baseball card he purchased was never received. The party was originally told the package was lost, but later delivered empty to his home. The report was needed for refund purposes.
Found: Police followed up on a report made at 1:28 p.m. regarding an unattended black backpack located near Franklin Trail and Park Nicollet Avenue. Miscellaneous items were found in the backpack, along with person’s name. It was entered into records as found property.
