Nicole Klekner has been named the new Finance Director for the City of Prior Lake.
Klekner served in an interim capacity in this role for the past five months. She joined the city in March 2022 as Assistant Finance Director prior to the retirement of Cathy Erickson in August.
She has more than 15 years of experience working in finance and is a certified public accountant. Prior to being hired by the city, she was a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Prime Therapeutics in Bloomington. She earned a bachelor’s degree in public accounting from Gustavus Adolphus College.
