This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between October 21-28, 2025. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
October 21
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Raspberry Ridge Road, 3:42 a.m.; Kennett Curve, 6:48 a.m.; Pixie Point Circle, 8:07 a.m.
Accident: A two-vehicle accident occurred at Fish Point Road and Highway 13 at 7:10 a.m. No injuries were reported.
Accident: A vehicle that was going southbound on Highway 13 struck another going in the same direction at 3:15 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Candy Cove Trail. The driver of the second vehicle said he tried to stop but could not do so in time. Both vehicles sustained damage but could be driven away from the scene. No injuries were reported. Police noted it was raining at the time the accident occurred.
Hazard: Police responded to a report of a tree touching a powerline on Dakota Street. The Prior Lake Fire Department resolved the situation.
Animal: A woman reported at 8:17 p.m. she found a short-haired dog without a collar near Marschall Road and 170th Street. She agreed to care for the dog until animal control personnel could pick it up.
October 22
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Carriage Hill Road, 4:27 a.m.; Markley Lake Drive, 4:48 a.m.; Sunray Circle, 8:31 a.m.; Rolling Oaks Circle, 2:50 p.m.; Station Place, 10:46 p.m.
Animal: Police received a report of two emus located in front of the Holiday Station store located off of County Road 42 and Fountain Hills Drive. The animal control agency was contacted.
Domestic: Police were called a second time to a residence on Maplewood Street at 9:55 p.m. and found two parties arguing. One agreed to leave the residence for the evening. Both said nothing physical had occurred and no threats were made by either party.
Hazard: A dead cat was reported at 8:05 p.m. to be in the roadway near Crest Avenue and County Road 42. Police assisted with its removal.
October 23
Medical: Police responded to the following request for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Amos and Rose Circle, 11:31 a.m.
Animal: Police responded to a call at 6:43 a.m. to free a deer that was stuck in a drain near McKenna Road and County Road 42.
Hazard: A road sign was reportedly blocking the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and Arcadia at 3:42 a.m. Police assisted with removing the sign from the roadway.
Accident: Two vehicles traveling eastbound at 6:10 p.m. on Boudin Street had to stop at the semaphore located on Highway 13. The driver of the second vehicle rear-ended the first, and said her foot slipped off the brake which caused the accident. Both vehicles sustained minor damage due to the slow speeds. No injuries were reported.
October 24
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: 160th Street, 2:24 a.m.; Glynwater Trail, 7:01 a.m.; Fountain Hills Drive, 9:55 a.m.; Lyons Avenue, 10:26 a.m.; Franklin Trail, 12 p.m.
Suspicious: A Summer Street resident reported at 12:57 p.m. seeing a suspicious male in the area. The person was gone when the police arrived.
Obstructing: Police were called by a resident on Franklin Trail at 3:51 p.m., at which time a 27-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested on a gross misdemeanor after violating a domestic abuse no-contact order.
Assault: A 54-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault at 4:23 p.m. on Willowwood Street.
Accident: Two vehicles collided at 6:01 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Fish Point Road. When the light located at that intersection turned green, the driver of the first car did not move and was rear-ended by the driver of the second vehicle. The front vehicle sustained damage to the rear bumper and hatch; the second vehicle had damage to the front bumper.
Assault: A 33-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested at a residence on Tower Street for two counts of second degree assault with a dangerous weapon at 10:06 p.m.
October 25
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Boudin Street, 2:31 a.m.; Mystic Lake Boulevard, 6:35 a.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 12:37 p.m.; Grayling Circle, 2:46 p.m.; Lori Road, 8:39 p.m.
Hazard: Police responded to a tree that was down and landed across the road near Thunderbird Circle and West Woodland Trail at 10:01 a.m. The MDE Fire Department took care of the issue.
Accident: A driver traveling near Eagle Creek Avenue and Grainwood Circle swerved to avoid something in the roadway and struck a curb which caused the rear tire to snap off the axel. The incident occurred at 4:40 p.m.
Disturbance: Police received a report at 6:29 p.m. regarding a person who was intoxicated and showed up at a residence on Shore Trail. Police later made contact with the person at his residence and he was advised he was not welcome at the reporting party’s address.
Warrant: A 35-year-old Shakopee man was arrested on Green Heights Trail for a gross misdemeanor warrant for violation of a domestic abuse no-contact order.
Suspicious: A Pleasant Street resident called police at 9:29 p.m. to report a man walking on the road who was carrying a sword in a red sheath. Police responded and observed the subject walking with an umbrella. No contact was made.
October 26
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Mystic Lake Boulevard, 12:15 a.m.; Rolling Oaks Circle, 11:25 a.m.; Trailhead Lane, 1:16 p.m.; Willow Beach Trail, 2:28 p.m.
Fire: A report of a vehicle fire at Kwik Trip off of Fish Point Road was received at 11:15 a.m. A Scott County Sheriff Deputy was on the scene and advised that the fire had been put out. A customer said she spilled some oil as she was putting it in her vehicle, which then started on fire. The driver called for a ride and was advised to have her vehicle checked out by a mechanic.
Property damage: A resident living on Anna Trail called police at 3:15 p.m. to report that a tree fell in the wrong direction and landed on a neighbor’s attached garage, causing moderate damage to the roof and side of the building. Both parties were advised that it was a civil matter and should be reported to respective insurance companies.
Hazard: A resident of Bluebird Lane called police at 9:20 p.m. to report a gas smell was coming from a dryer. The Prior Lake Fire Department cleared the call prior to police arriving.
October 27
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Fountain Hills Drive, 4:52 a.m.; Wilderness Trail, 10:52 a.m.; Tower Street, 3:12 p.m.; Carriage Hills Road, 3:23 p.m.; Westwood Drive, 4:46 p.m.; Fountain Hills Drive, 5:47 p.m.
Assault: A 48-year-old Prior Lake resident was arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault, inflicting bodily harm and causing fear of harm. The incident occurred on Maplewood Street at 5 p.m.
Disturbance: Police received a 911 call from a patient who was in memory care at a facility located on Park Nicollet Avenue. The person alleged a fight was occurring. Officers spoke with staff who said there was no issue and the reporting party did not appear to have any injuries or health concerns.
Fire: A resident living on Sycamore Trail called at 7:51 p.m. to report a small fire ignited near the engine of his vehicle, but he was able to extinguish it. The driver was taking the vehicle for a test driver before putting the vehicle in storage for the winter.
Warrant: A 19-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested on Ponds Parkway for a Hennepin County misdemeanor warrant for theft.
October 28
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Rolling Oaks Circle, 2:16 a.m.; Deerfield Drive, 9:41 a.m.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 7:22 a.m. near Pike Lake Trail and 140th Street.
