Tickets are now on sale for Prior Lake High School’s fall musical, “Cinderella, Enchanted Edition.”
Nearly 50 local students will appear on stage during the performance, and nearly as many have worked in recent months behind the scenes on set creation, preparing costumes, lighting, props and technical needs. From choreography and vocals to a hand-built pumpkin carriage, the show promises to be unforgettable.
This year’s production marks the return of Director Karina Nelson, a well-known participant in the Prior Lake theater community. Her return brings new energy and excitement to a program that continues to grow in excellence and reputation. Last year, the high school’s musical Little Shop of Horrors received the Hennepin Arts Spotlight Education Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theater award, along with many other group and individual awards.
Performances will be held in the PLHS auditorium, 7575 150th Street, Savage. Show times include: Thursday, Nov. 20 through Saturday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. Prior to Sunday’s matinee, tickets are available for a “Royal Party” for young Princes and Princesses that will provide an opportunity for the youngsters to parade across the stage to music from the musical played by the pit band.
PLHS theatrical performances usually sell out well before opening night. Tickets can be purchased using this link.
