Michael Lee Mills, 74, of Prior Lake, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Clara Mills; brother, Dennis Mills; daughter-in-law, Michelle Port; and brother-in-law, James Bielke.
Mike was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. All who knew him looked up to him, respected him, and cherished his fatherly advice and constant teachings.
Born on Feb. 4, 1951, Mike was a Richfield, Minn., native, one of four children. After graduating high school, he became an iron worker and also served in the Army Reserves for eight years. After his apprenticeship and years of night school, he became an electrician and was an active member of IBEW Local 110 Labor Union. He retired at the age of 62 after an esteemed career with Hunt Electric.
Mike enjoyed golfing, fishing, wood working, and spending time with family and friends at his cabin and, more recently, their home in Cape Coral, FL. He and his beloved wife, Susanne, celebrated 45 years of marriage, built on laughter, loyalty, and a solid partnership.
Mike was the proudest father and grandpa, with a heart of gold that never wavered from doing what was right. To so many, he was a quiet mentor, a steady role model, and a source of endless love. His absence leaves a void no words can fill, but his spirit will live on in every story shared and every life he touched. He will be dearly missed by all.
