Primary Election Day is Tuesday, Aug. 11, but early voting is now open for eligible voters at specified locations.

Local voting locations and hours are:

Prior Lake City Hall, 4646 Dakota Street, Prior Lake

Only residents of the City of Prior Lake and Spring Lake Township may vote at this location weekdays beginning July 24 through Aug. 7, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. City Hall will also be open for voting on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Monday, Aug. 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Scott County Public Works, 600 Country Trail E., Jordan

All Scott County voters may vote at this location weekdays through Aug. 7 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The public works facility will also be open for voting on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on Monday, Aug. 10, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Residents of Belle Plaine, Jordan, New Prague, Savage, Shakopee and Elko-New Market may vote at the city hall located in their respective community.

All residents of Scott County — including residents of the City of Credit River and the townships of Belle Plaine, Blakeley, Cedar Lake, Helena, New Market, Sand Creek and St. Lawrence — may vote at the Scott County Public Works facility.

Polls will be open for regular primary voting on Aug. 11 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
