The Prior Lake Library’s “Cook Book Club” will meet in the large meeting room on Wednesday, Aug. 5, starting at 6 p.m.
The theme for the August event is “summer picnic.” Those who attend can select any recipe, prepare it and bring the completed dish to the meeting, along with serving utensils and a copy of the recipe to share with the group.
Theme suggestions for the November meeting will be discussed on Aug. 5. The new season of the British Baking Show is one option, along with recipes from Paul Hollywood or creations made by Nigella Lawson.
Coordinated by Katy Relling, library staff member, the quarterly gathering has been hosted since the fall of 2024 and is open to all residents who enjoy great food and sharing cooking experiences.
