The Minnesota Valley Transit Authority has created a special ride schedule for area residents who wish to travel to and from the Minnesota State Fair.
Between Aug. 21 and Aug. 31, express bus service will be offered to the fair each day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. with departures scheduled for every 15 to 20 minutes from the locations listed below. Buses will also offer return service from the fair along the same timeline between noon and 11:30 p.m. each day.
On Labor Day, Sept. 1, buses to the fair will leave these transit stations every 15 to 20 minutes between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Rides from the fair will be scheduled from noon to 9:30 p.m. that day. Fairgoers who are ready to return home should go to the location where they were dropped off at the fairgrounds. The last bus will depart at 11:30 p.m. from Aug. 21 – 31, and at 9:30 p.m. on Labor Day.

- Burnsville Transit Station, 100 E. Highway 13, Burnsville
