The downtown Prior Lake area is experiencing significant changes in new development and restoration of older buildings.
Chula’s Latin-Mexican Food and Spirits will be located in one new building being constructed on Colorado Street. Owner Manny Perez is joining its builder, Stanley & Wencl, along with the City of Prior Lake in seeking resident input for the naming of the new building to invoke its historical connection to the city.
The name will be chosen through a joint decision made by Perez, Dan Stanley and Mayor Kirt Briggs.
Entries will be limited to three per person and must be received by March 31. The person submitting the winning entry will receive a cash prize and gift card that can be used once Chula’s opens in the coming months.
