Brandon Elliott Wark, age 46 of Shakopee, entered eternal life on Sunday, May 31, 2026.
Brandon was born March 24, 1980, in Minneapolis. He spent most of his life in Prior Lake, where he played baritone saxophone in high school and marching band and excelled at many sports. He was the son of Gail Wark and Susan Wark Evans. He was employed with Willis Towers Watson and had a thriving career as a Commercial Property Insurance Broker.
Brandon enjoyed spending time with his wife and their two children. Other hobbies include hunting, sports of all kinds, playing golf and collecting shoes… lots and lots of shoes, and Brandon was also a fun-loving car enthusiast. Most of all, he lived for his family and friends and could always be relied upon for any favor, advice, professional guidance or just a great big hug, which was passed down by both sides of his family. Brandon loved all of us, and we loved him and will continue to love him dearly in return.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda; son, David (13); daughter, Gia (11); mother, Susan; sister, Amanda; brother-in-law, Elson; nephew, Blaine; niece, Zylia; father/mother-in-law, David and Cheryl Taylor; special friends, Brandon “Beato” Snell and Scott Schaefer; along with many other close friends and relatives including uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gail; grandparents, Vic and Ruth Skoglund; Ted and Opahl Wark; aunt and uncle, Cheryl and Rick Ostlund.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., with the Funeral Service at 11 a.m., followed by a reception, all at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church, 3611 N Berens Road NW, Prior Lake.
