The Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce will once again host its annual summer celebration of “Prior Lake Days” on Aug. 7-8.
Festivities will kick off on Friday, Aug. 7, with a “Sip & Stroll” presented by Viking Liquor from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Those who attend must be at least 21 years of age. Vendors, food trucks and beverage tastings will be offered.
Saturday, Aug. 8, has been designated as “Family Friendly Fun Day” that will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Kids’ Zone will feature water races, a hair painting tent, robotics demonstration, inflatables, a hands-on STEM tent and face painting.
Food trucks will be on site throughout the day.
Live entertainment options will include:
- Kids Dance with a disc jockey from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Cookie eating contest, 1:15 to 1:45 p.m.
- Live music by Robert Bozaich from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
- Live music by Jake & Ensemble from 4 to 6 p.m.
Other features scheduled for Aug. 8 are a children’s entrepreneur market, corn hole tournament and a vendor village.
