June 29, 2026
Traffic Criminal: A 40-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested for second-degree DWI, second-degree driving while impaired, a stop sign violation, failure to drive in a single lane and failure to signal a turn. The arrest occurred at County Road 21 and Franklin Trail at 3:26 a.m.
Drugs: A 44-year-old Plymouth woman was arrested for felony fifth-degree drug possession at 4:07 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard.
Found: Police found mail in the roadway on Willow Beach Trail at 9:04 a.m. Its owner was notified and asked to report to them anything that was missing.
Found: Residents living on Shady Beach Trail reported to police at 9:15 a.m. that they had found an e-bike in their pond and did not recall seeing it the previous evening. Police contacted neighbors with home surveillance cameras, and one said a teenager had driven the bike down the street at approximately 3 p.m. and walked out of the neighborhood a short time later. Police took the bike and placed it into evidence. Dispatch also ran the serial number in an attempt to identify the owner.
Accident: Two vehicles collided at approximately 3:26 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 42 and Fountain Hills Drive. One driver attempted to do a U-turn and a lane change when it hit the other car. Minor damage was done to both vehicles; there were no injuries.
Hazard: Police assisted the Prior Lake Fire Department at 4:31 p.m. following the report of a gas line being struck on Manitou Road.
Slumper: Police received a report of a male being passed out in a vehicle while parked at 4:44 p.m. on Lupine Trail. Police found that the man lived in the area and needed no further assistance.
Trespass: A 47-year-old St. Paul man was cited for trespassing and arrested for a felony warrant issued by Washington County. The incident occurred at 5:14 p.m. on Sioux Trail.
Accident: Police responded to a single vehicle accident at Highway 13 and 160th Street, following a front tire rod breaking. The accident occurred at 7:10 p.m. and a local towing service was called to assist.

Trespass: A 38-year-old Prior Lake person was cited for trespassing and arrested on a felony Scott County warrant at 7:02 p.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard.
Hazard: Police were called at 9:14 p.m. to a residence on Cherry Court following a report of a rotten egg smell coming from a garage. The Prior Lake Fire Department also responded and found a wrong charger had been used to power up a toddler’s ATV, which caused the odor.

July 1, 2026
Suspicious: Police observed a man disposing of two full garbage bags in a city trash receptacle on Busse Parkway at 5:13 p.m. The person said he was moving out of his house and wanted to dispose of the trash elsewhere. He retrieved the bags and left the area.
Accident: A minor accident was reported at 7:54 p.m. when a driver struck the mirror of a car that was parked at Pleasant Street and Main Avenue. Driver agreed to exchange insurance information.

July 2, 2026
Accident: Police were called at 7:52 a.m. following an accident that occurred near Dakota Street and Main Avenue. The driver of one vehicle was turning into a parking lot and hit another car, causing moderate damage. Both vehicles were towed from scene.
Accident: A person backing out of their driveway hit an Amazon delivery truck at 3:29 p.m. on Raspberry Ridge Road. No injuries were reported but the truck sustained minor scratches.
Hazard: Police received a report at 9:54 p.m. regarding fireworks being shot off near vehicles parked in the area of Meadowlawn and Carriage Hills Parkway. Upon arrival, officers found no fireworks.
Hazard: Police located a piece of cardboard that was on fire at 11:29 p.m. on Tower Street. The flames were extinguished.
Traffic Criminal: A 44-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for fourth-degree driving while impaired and having a blood alcohol concentration of more than .08 within two hours of the incident. The arrest was made at 11:36 p.m. on Brunswick Avenue.

July 3, 2026
Suspicious: Police received a report at 1:46 a.m. that a woman shot a man outside of a home on Credit River Road. Officers investigated, determined no one was harmed and the incident actually occurred on television.
Traffic Criminal: A 28-year-old Eagan man was arrested for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI at 8:06 p.m. on Grainwood Trail.
Fire: Police received a report of a small fire at 10:12 p.m. that was reportedly started by fireworks. When arriving at the Five Hawks Avenue residence, a small fire was found to be burning in a trash can. The Prior Lake Fire Department arrived on the scene and extinguished the flame. Those thought to be responsible for the fire had left the scene before police arrived.

July 4, 2026
Suspicious: Police spotted several juveniles in Lakefront Park at 3:45 a.m. Parents were called and made aware that their children were out past curfew. All were advised to go home and issued verbal warnings.
Suspicious: Police responded to a report received at 4:28 a.m. involving a man rolling around on the ground at a gas station located on Duluth Avenue. Officers made contact with the individual who said he wasn’t bothering anyone and was about to go fishing.
Accident: Two vehicles collided at Dakotah Parkway and Mystic Lake Drive at 2:32 p.m. One driver hit the other while making a U-turn at the intersection, which caused damage to the rear passenger panel. No injuries were reported.
Accident: A 59-year-old Prior Lake man was cited for misdemeanor hit-and-run and failure to notify the owner of the damages. The incident occurred at 4:19 p.m. at Duluth Avenue and Highway 13.
Accident: Police assisted a driver who drove off the roadway near County Road 42 and McKenna Road at 8:05 p.m. There was no damage to the vehicle, and the driver was not injured.

July 5, 2026
Fire: Police were called at 12:05 a.m. to Park Nicollet Avenue where they found a small fire had been lit at the base of a tree. Fireworks debris was found at the scene after the fire was extinguished.
Stolen Motor Vehicle: Police received a report at 3 a.m. of a motor vehicle being stolen from Main Avenue. The case is pending processing.
Accident: A resident reported to police at 1:36 p.m. that the front passenger side of their vehicle was damaged but did not know when or where the damages occurred. The driver said it could have happened the previous night at Lakefront Park during the fireworks show or while he was parked in the downtown area the night before. Police documented the incident and provided the driver with a case number.
Domestic: A 52-year-old Prior Lake resident was arrested at 10:24 p.m. on Indian Ridge Circle for misdemeanor domestic assault and causing fear of harm.
