This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between Dec. 10-16, 2025. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
December 10
Assault: A simple assault was investigated by police at 3:02 p.m. on WestWood Drive. The case was sent for review of charges.
Hazard: A woman living on Estate Avenue called police at 3:57 p.m. and stated she believed the private company hired to plow her driveway intentionally blocks in her vehicle. Police investigated her claim and found she was not blocked in and had driven through the snow. She was advised to call the company and report the driver.
Accident: Police responded to a report of an accident that happened at approximately 5:46 p.m. near the intersection of Duluth Avenue and Highway 13. Parties involved were assisted until the Minnesota State Patrol arrived and took over the investigation.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Orion Road, 5 a.m.; Bluff Heights Trail, 6:33 a.m.; Ridgemont Avenue, 2:39 p.m.; Franklin Trail, 3:57 p.m.; Gateway Street, 4:54 p.m.; Mystic Lake Boulevard, 10:34 p.m.; Spring Avenue, 11:03 p.m.

December 11
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 12:26 p.m. in the roundabout at Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue.
Suspicious Activity: Police responded to a report of road rage that occurred at Highway 13 and Duluth Avenue at 4:30 p.m. and spoke to the parties that may have been involved. None of the parties wanted charges to be pressed; all parties later dispersed.
Motor Vehicle: A vehicle was reported stolen at 9:16 p.m. from Mystic Lake Boulevard. The case has been sent for review of charges.
December 12:
Accident: An accident occurred at 7:14 a.m. in the parking lot of the Holiday Station on Duluth Avenue. The driver of one vehicle was waiting for a garbage truck to move and was hit by another as he was backing out of a parking space.
Accident: Two vehicles collided at 2:24 p.m. near the intersection of Raspberry Ridge Road and Eagle Creek Avenue. The driver of one vehicle was attempting to turn northbound on Eagle Creek from Raspberry Ridge when he hit the rear passenger side of a vehicle traveling southbound. Moderate disabling damage was done to the car that was hit.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Woodside Road, 9:03 a.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 10:12 a.m.; Wilds Lane, 5:48 p.m.; 150th Street, 6:32 p.m.
December 13
Drugs: A 38-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for third degree possession of drugs, possessing 50 or more dosage units and a felony Hennepin County warrant for third degree drug possession. The arrest occurred at 5:45 a.m. on Sioux Trail.
Fire: Police received a report at 2:06 p.m. that an oven was on fire in a home located on Colorado Street. The Prior Lake Fire Department extinguished the flames and advised the homeowner.
Snowmobile: Police observed the drivers of two snowmobiles driving on the sidewalk near the intersection of Shoreline Boulevard and Stemmer Ridge at 2:48 p.m. The drivers were advised of the city ordinance.
Accident: A driver was backing out of his driveway and struck an unoccupied vehicle at 7:59 p.m. that was parked in the roadway on Pershing Street. No injuries were reported.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Gateway Street, 3:53 a.m.; Shady Beach Trail, 7:22 p.m.; Sioux Trail, 10:49 p.m.
December 14
Suspicious Activity: Police were called by a resident on Trillium Cove at 3:32 a.m. after a report was received that someone was in the garage. The male departed before police arrived.
Traffic Criminal: A 23-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested on Quaker Trail at 4:22 a.m. for third degree driving while intoxicated.
Suspicious Activity: A resident living on Brookmere Boulevard reported at 2:23 p.m. that a small gas can had been left under a bank of mailboxes located in front of her home. Police found the can to be half full and suspected it may have been left behind by the snow removal crew that serviced the association.
Suspicious Activity: Police responded to a report of a car breaking down at 2:39 p.m. near the intersection of Stonecrest Path and Brookmere Boulevard. The driver was nowhere to be found, but returned shortly thereafter with his wife and was able to jumpstart the car. No further assistance was needed.
Traffic Criminal: A 32-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested on Gateway Street at 4:35 p.m. for driving after license cancellation, second degree driving while intoxicated, and for two Scott County DWI gross misdemeanor warrants.
Traffic Criminal: A 74-year-old man from Prior Lake was arrested at 10:22 p.m. near the intersection of 170th Street and Walnut Avenue for fourth degree driving while impaired, and driving over the center line.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Five Hawks Avenue, 12:31 p.m.; Golden View Lane, 3:46 p.m.; Raspberry Ridge Road, 9:25 p.m.
December 15
Traffic Criminal: A 45-year-old woman from St. Peter was arrested at 2:16 a.m. on Sioux Trail for third degree driving while intoxicated, refusing to be tested and fourth degree driving while impaired.
Hazard: Police assisted the Prior Lake Fire Department after a gas hazard was reported at 8:11 a.m. on Cardinal Ridge Trail.
Motor Vehicle: A vehicle was reported stolen at 8:35 a.m. from Welcome Avenue. The case is under investigation.
Property Damage: Police were called at 2:28 p.m. to investigate a report of a blade being cut off of a plow that had been attached to a truck. The incident occurred on Pershing Street.
Accident: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 6:13 p.m. near the intersection of Duluth Avenue and Highway 13. One driver was waiting for a light change when he was rear-ended by another driver. Minor damage was done to the driver that was hit; the airbag in the other vehicle deployed and the vehicle sustained disabling damage.
Suspicious Person: A resident of CJ Circle called police at 11:45 p.m. to report that a male was sitting behind her mailbox. He had left the area before police arrived, they checked the area and were unable to find the person.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Maple Trail, 3:30 p.m.; Deerfield Lane, 3:49 p.m.; Canter Lane, 4:02 p.m.; Berens Court, 7:13 p.m.; 138th Street, 9:04 p.m.
December 16
Accident: Police received a report at 7:21 a.m. of a car in the ditch near Panama Avenue and 174th Street. The vehicle was located but was unoccupied. Contact was made with its owner who indicated a towing service had been called and she was not injured.
Accident: Minor damage was done when one vehicle backed into another near the intersection of Adelmann Street and Graystone Court. The incident was reported at 3:19 p.m. and resulted in no injuries.
