June 8, 2026
Hazard: A report of a smoking tree branch that was touching a power line near Green Heights Trail and Dutch Avenue was made at 6:18 a.m. Prior Lake Fire Department responded to the scene and was unable to find the reported problem.
Stolen Vehicle: A motor vehicle was reported stolen at 10:17 a.m. on 170th Street. The case is pending processing.
Accident: A driver pulling a dual axle dump trailer loaded with a tree trunk and branches was entering the roundabout on Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue at 12:30 p.m., attempting to go westbound. The trailer flipped onto the passenger side, damaging the gray barrier pole that was located at the intersection. A towing service was called to right the trailer. The city’s public works department was notified about the damage and provided the vehicle owner’s information.
Hazard: A gas line was struck at 12:43 p.m. on Island Circle. The Prior Lake Fire Department responded to the scene.

June 9, 2026
Accident: A driver traveling southbound on Highway 13 at 8:44 a.m. had slowed to turn left on Franklin Trail. The vehicle traveling behind that car swerved to the right but made contact with the rear of the vehicle. The second vehicle sustained moderate damage to the front driver side. Minor damage was done to the first vehicle. There were no injuries and neither car needed to be towed from the scene.
Found: A wallet containing several forms of identification, a social security card and debit cards was found near County Road 42 and turned into the Prior Lake Police Department at 1:30 p.m.
Found: Two fishing poles and a backpack with fishing equipment were found at Sand Point Beach and brought to the Prior Lake Police Department at 1:33 p.m.
Lost Property: A man came to the Prior Lake Police Department and asked if anyone had turned in a “Hop-Along Cassidy” money clip. Its value was estimated at approximately $150, and he thought it had been lost several days earlier in the Prior Lake Library parking lot. Police took his contact information in the event the item was turned in.
Accident: Two vehicles collided near the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and Fish Point Road at 3:32 p.m. Minor damage was done to both vehicles; there were no injuries reported.
Accident: Police were called to the intersection of County Road 42 and Eagle Creek Avenue at 7:38 p.m. after receiving a report of an accident with injuries. A driver traveling westbound on County Road 42 stopped after seeing animals in the roadway. The driver behind her also stopped, but a motorcycle driver with a passenger traveling behind that vehicle was unable to stop. The front of the motorcycle struck the rear of the second vehicle. Both people on the motorcycle were transported via ambulance to the hospital.

Suspicious: While on patrol near Five Hawks Elementary School, police found two males playing basketball at 12:05 a.m. They were advised it was after school hours, and they agreed to depart the property.
Traffic Criminal: A 35-year-old man from Faribault was arrested for fourth-degree DWI, registering 0.08% or more blood alcohol concentration within two hours, as well as an illegal crossover maneuver on a controlled-access highway. The arrest occurred at 12:20 a.m. near the intersection of County Road 82 and Orion Road.
Accident: Two vehicles collided at 11:31 a.m. near the intersection of Mystic Lake Drive and Flandreau Trail. The driver of one vehicle reportedly turned into the other, causing minor damage.
Domestic Assault: A 17-year-old Prior Lake female was arrested at 9:04 p.m. on Franklin Trail for domestic assault and inflicting harm.

Suspicious: While on routine patrol, police came across a vehicle parked on Busse Parkway with two adult individuals engaging in sexual activity in the back seat. They were advised to go home.

June 12, 2026
Accident: A hit-and-run accident at Eagle Creek Avenue and Highway 13 was reported at 12:55 p.m. The driver who reported the incident said their vehicle was rear-ended by a red vehicle while going westbound on Eagle Creek.
Accident: The driver of a vehicle traveling at 1:42 p.m. in the parking lot of Priordale Mall reported being struck by another that was backing out of a parking space and, according to the report, did not stop. The driver who had been hit followed the other party and called police. There was fresh, minor damage noted by police on both vehicles. The driver who was backing out indicated they were not aware that a collision occurred. There were no injuries.
Hazard: The Prior Lake Fire Department responded at 3:30 p.m. to a report of a gas line being hit on Black Oak Road.
Domestic Assault: A 28-year-old man from Lakeville was arrested at 11:47 p.m. on Timber Crest Drive for misdemeanor domestic assault and causing fear of harm.

Traffic Criminal: A 49-year-old man from Savage was arrested for fourth-degree DWI, driving while impaired, fourth-degree DWI with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08% or more within two hours, carrying a pistol while under the influence and failure to drive in a single lane. The arrest was made near the intersection of Highway 13 and Candy Cove Trail.
Suspicious: Police observed a car parked on Ponds Parkway at 2:56 a.m. Two people were engaged in sexual activity and were told to leave.
No-Contact Order: A 26-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested at 4:40 a.m. on Waziyata Circle for violating a misdemeanor domestic abuse no-contact order.
Stolen Vehicle: A motor vehicle was reported stolen from Spring Lake Road. The case is pending processing by police.
Warrant: A 59-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested on Mystic Lake Boulevard for a Scott County misdemeanor warrant involving domestic assault.

June 14, 2026
Accident: A driver on Mystic Lake Boulevard hit a parked car at approximately 12:20 a.m. and damaged the passenger side front bumper. The driver left a note with his phone number. There were no charges; insurance information was exchanged later between the owners of the vehicles.
Hazard: A report was received at 3:38 p.m. regarding a junction box lying in the roadway near Birchwood Avenue and Shady Beach Trail. Neither the box nor the surrounding infrastructure was damaged. Police contacted the service provider. It was determined the cables coming out of the ground did not present a danger.
Disturbance: A 30-year-old Lakeville man was arrested at 10:57 p.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard for felony drugs, fifth-degree possession, gross misdemeanor obstruction of legal process and interfering with a peace officer. A female juvenile from St. Paul was also arrested for gross misdemeanor after giving a peace officer false information and petty misdemeanor curfew violation.
