This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between Jan. 6 – 13, 2026. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
January 6
Welfare Check: While on routine patrol, police came across a male at 5:13 a.m. who appeared to be sleeping in his vehicle. He stated that he was experiencing some pain in his side, but declined all medical attention, or to have an ambulance called on his behalf.
Accident: Police received a report at 7:46 p.m. that listed a car landing in the ditch near 154th Street and Eagle Creek Avenue. Upon investigating the area, there was no evidence that corresponded with the report.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Aspen Avenue, 7:17 a.m.; Jeffers Pass, 1:46 p.m.; Kennett Curve, 7:10 p.m.; Martindale Street, 9:52 p.m.
January 7

Burglary: Two calls involving burglary on Fountain Hills Drive were reported; one call was made at 7:20 a.m., while the other came in at 3:18 p.m. Another burglary report was initiated from the Fountain Hills Drive area on January 9. The cases are under investigation.
Suspicious: Police were called to Bluebird Trail at 10:22 p.m. after receiving a report that two females were entering a work van parked in the neighborhood. Officers made contact with the individuals and they were confirmed to be employees of the business and were getting work supplies.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Cardinal Ridge Trail, 10:40 p.m.
January 8
Accident: Police provided assistance at the intersection of Highway 13 and 160th Street at 9:03 a.m. after a vehicle struck an electrical box and took out all the traffic lights. There were no injuries, and the Scott County maintenance department put up stop signs until the lights could be repaired.
Accident: A vehicle traveling east on Fish Point Road at 4:58 p.m. was rear-ended by another when approaching Huron Street. The first vehicle sustained minor damage to the bumper; the other had no noticeable damage to the front bumper.
Suspicious: Officers were dispatched at 9:09 p.m. to investigate a report of a suspicious male inside of a new home being constructed near the intersection of Fairlawn Avenue and Maple Trail. After arriving, they found two construction workers who were finishing up a project for the building company.

January 9
Accident: A vehicle slid off the roadway and got stuck in a snowbank near Dakotah Parkway and Mystic Lake Way at 12:44 a.m. The driver requested that a towing service be called to assist in getting back on the road.
Accident: A driver that was parked on the roadway near Fox Tail Court and Wilderness Ridge Road reported at 3:13 p.m. that they were involved in a hit-and-run accident.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with the time noted: Fountain Hills Drive, 5:35 p.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 7:03 p.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 8:25 p.m.
January 10
Accident: A woman reported at 11:07 a.m. that she hit a deer near 154th Street and Mystic Lake Boulevard. The deer was dead when police arrived, and they noted her vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage to the hood, front bumper, passenger fender and potentially the undercarriage since the deer was run over after it was hit.
Accident: A three-vehicle accident occurred near the intersection of Highway 13 and Franklin Trail at 6:31 p.m. No other details were available.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Jeffers Pass, 7:42 a.m.; Franklin Trail, 1:33 p.m.; Victoria Curve, 6:29 p.m.; Spring Lake Road, 8:26 p.m.; Ridgewood Court, 9:32 p.m.
January 11
Disturbance: Two people were involved in a physical altercation at 8:31 p.m. on Brougham Boulevard. Both declined medical attention when police arrived, and each said they would stay separated for the remainder of the evening.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Boudin Street, 1:35 a.m.; Arcadia Avenue, 10:01 a.m.; Woodside Road, 7:03 p.m.
January 12
Fraud: Police received a report involving fraud from a Wood Duck Drive resident.
Accident: A woman reported at 3:16 p.m. that while her vehicle was parked in a lot located on Mystic Lake Boulevard, it was struck sometime between Jan. 11 and Jan. 12. Damage was done to the front driver’s side panel and front bumper, and there was evidence of red paint being transferred when hit. Surveillance video showed no vehicle hit the car while parked in the lot.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 4:03 p.m. near the intersection of Pike Lake Trail and Martindale Street. One vehicle was pulling a dump trailer while traveling northbound on Pike Lake; the other was traveling southbound on the same road. The first vehicle began to slide into oncoming traffic due to icy road conditions and a curvature in the road. The airbag deployed on the second vehicle when it struck the driver’s rear door and bed of the first.
Theft: Police received a report of theft at 6:18 p.m. from a resident living on Tower Street. The case was sent to the Scott County Attorney’s Office.
Disturbance: Police responded to a call originating on Sioux Trail at 10:36 p.m. involving a woman who was refusing to get out of an Uber. Once the officers arrived, she left the vehicle, ordered another, and left the property without further incident.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Tower Street, 3:10 a.m.; West Woodland Trail, 12:58 p.m.; Bluebird Trail, 6:18 p.m.; Fountain Hills Drive, 6:28 p.m.; Manitou Road, 8:45 p.m.
January 13
Accident: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 11:11 a.m. when one rear-ended another near the intersection of Dakotah Parkway and Mystic Lake Circle.
Accident: A dog was hit by a car that was traveling near Highway 13 and Panama Avenue at 3:27 p.m. The owner of the dog was notified of the accident and came to retrieve it while the driver waited. No damage was done to the vehicle.
Fraud: A resident living on Santee Circle called police at 8 p.m. to report fraud.
