This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between Feb. 24-March 3, 2026. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
February 24
Drugs: Police arrested a 30-year-old man from Red Wing at 2:51 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard. The charge included fifth degree possession of Fentanyl.
Theft: A 26-year-old man from Baxter was cited at 2:07 p.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard for misdemeanor theft and moving property without consent.
Accident: A two-vehicle accident resulting in property damage was reported at 3:21 p.m. on Sioux Trail Northwest.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Commerce Avenue, 10:33 a.m.; Fountain Hills Drive, 6:41 p.m.
February 25
Accident: A minor accident occurred on Mystic Lake Boulevard at 12:49 p.m. No injuries were reported.
Accident: A vehicle collided with a deer at the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and Marsh Drive at 5:53 p.m. The driver advised that no further assistance was needed.
February 26
Traffic/Criminal: A 36-year-old Burnsville woman was arrested at 12:55 a.m. near Main and Eagle Creek avenues for gross misdemeanor second degree driving while impaired with two or more aggravating factors, gross misdemeanor second degree driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or more within two hours and a right turn violation.
Accident: Police were called at 9:08 a.m. to the intersection of Langford and Sunray boulevards where a woman was taking a walk with her daughter who was in a stroller. When the woman began to cross Highway 13 with her child, they were hit by a vehicle that was also making a turn onto the highway.
Warrant: A 46-year-old Lakeville man was arrested at 12:02 p.m. on Fish Point Road for a misdemeanor Dakota County warrant for failure to appear on a driving while under the influence charge.
Hazard: Police were dispatched to Royalton Road at 3:49 p.m. after receiving a report of a gas hazard. The Prior Lake Fire Department also responded and advised they would handle the situation.
Warrant: A 21-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for a felony Scott County warrant for first degree criminal sexual conduct penetration and felony third degree criminal sexual conduct penetration.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Shepherd’s Path, 2:47 a.m.; Fish Point Road, 9:58 a.m.; Jeffers Parkway, 6:10 p.m.; Colorado Street, 11:53 p.m.
February 27
Assist: Police assisted when a call was made from Sioux Trail Northwest at 1:41 a.m. Two males were reported handcuffed together and neither had a key. Officers provided an unlocking service and the handcuffs were removed.
Assault: A 28-year-old man from Parshall, North Dakota, was arrested at 5:46 a.m. for misdemeanor domestic assault that involved causing harm and causing fear of harm.
Hazard: The Prior Lake Fire Department located a vehicle at 2:25 p.m. that had broken down near the intersection of Eagle Creek and Lakeside avenues. Police remained at the scene until the towing service that had been called arrived.
Theft: A 56-year-old woman from Farmington was cited for theft at 9:19 p.m. while on Mystic Lake Boulevard.
Accident: Two vehicles collided near the intersection of County Road 42 and Eagle Creek Avenue at 11:10 p.m. One vehicle was turning from southbound Eagle Creek Avenue onto County Road 42 , while another traveling northbound on Eagle Creek Avenue was attempting to enter County Road 42 on a green light and collided with the other vehicle, causing it to roll and land upside down. Both vehicles were disabled because of the crash.

February 28
Obstructing: A 52-year-old person from Minneapolis was arrested for misdemeanor domestic abuse and violating an order for protection. The incident occurred at 4:01 a.m. near the intersection of Mystic Lake Drive and Wilds Path.
Weapons: A 15-year-old male from Prior Lake was arrested for felony second degree assault with a dangerous weapon and misdemeanor domestic assault that caused fear. The incident occurred at 1:35 p.m. on Aspen Avenue.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Rolling Oaks Circle, 8:46 a.m.; Shady Cove Point, 9:04 p.m.; Mystic Lake Boulevard, 10:57 p.m.
March 1
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Hillside Court, 12:30 p.m.; Marsh Street, 10:44 p.m.
March 2
Accident: Two vehicles traveling westbound near the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and Grainwood Circle collided when one driver looked at his GPS system and hit the car in front of him at 3:52 p.m. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.
Hazard: Police were called at 8:43 p.m. to a home on Fillmore Avenue to investigate an odd smell that was coming from a bedroom. A dead mouse was located by the Prior Lake Fire Department.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Wilds Lane, 3:45 p.m.; Eagle Creek Avenue, 5:49 p.m.
March 3
Warrant: A 25-year-old St. Paul man was arrested at 12:35 a.m. on Fish Point Road on a Hennepin County misdemeanor warrant and a Stearns County felony warrant.
Domestic: Police received a call at 1:48 p.m. from a resident living on Toronto Avenue who reported hearing screaming coming from an apartment and clothing thrown out in the hallway. Upon arrival, police heard a loud argument, met with those involved and mediated the situation.
Fraud: A Stonebriar Circle resident called police at 6:15 p.m. to report fraudulent activity involving his credit card. The person called back later to report there were no longer charges on his card and no further assistance was needed.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 8:10 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 42 and Eagle Creek Avenue.
Medical: Police responded to the following request for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Park Nicollet Avenue, 7:31 a.m.; Shoreline Boulevard, 3:02 p.m.
