This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between March 17-22, 2026. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
March 17
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that happened near the intersection of Highway 13 and 150th Street at 3:33 p.m.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Adelmann Street, 12:28 a.m.; Wild Oak Terrace, 10:33 a.m.; Tower Street, 2:42 p.m.; Jeffers Pass, 6:14 p.m.
March 18
Accident: An accident occurred at 7:39 a.m. on Sioux Trail near Little Six Casino. No injuries were reported.
Assist: Police were called to a residence on Park Nicollet Avenue at 11:53 a.m., where a tenant reported that her television did not work. Police power-cycled the DirecTV box and were able to get reception.
Warrant: Police arrested a 26-year-old man on a U.S. Marshal warrant for felony aggravated assault. The arrest was made at 1:46 p.m. on Breezy Point Road.
Assist: Police were called to a residence on Franklin Trail where a woman reported that she had purchased a vehicle from a dealership the day before and an Apple AirTag had been placed inside of the dashboard. Police advised her to take the vehicle back to the dealership and have them remove it to avoid damaging the dash.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Woodside Road, 8:55 a.m.; Gateway Street, 10:23 a.m.; Kennett Curve, 10:39 a.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 3:48 p.m.
March 19
Suspicious: Police responded to a 911 call and found a person lying on the ground, suffering from an unknown medical issue. He declined medical attention and had his mother transport him. The incident occurred on 160th Street at 1:49 a.m.
Suspicious: Police checked on two people at 8:15 a.m. who were sleeping in a car near a park located on 170th Street and Elm Avenue. The vehicle had been contacted by police in a prior incident when it was parked on Stonebriar Circle.
Property Found: A person found a large set of keys in the roadway near Big Horn Pass and Wilds Parkway. The keys were turned into the Prior Lake Police Department and placed in storage.
Accident: An accident involving two vehicles occurred at 2:20 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Pheasant Meadow Lane, 2:36 a.m.; Mystic Lake Boulevard, 10:10 p.m.
March 20
Accident: A police officer reported at 5:05 a.m. that while reversing the squad car in the parking lot of Prior Lake Bait & Tackle, it collided with a snowbank, resulting in minor damage to the passenger side rear bumper.
Hazard: A Duluth Avenue resident called police at 7:50 a.m. to report that a snow blower and gas can were sitting on a nearby pond and they were concerned it would break through the ice. Police attempted to locate the owner of the snow blower and left information at nearby residences. A call was made to the police department the following day to let them know it had been removed.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 11:31 a.m. on Sioux Trail near Little Six Casino.
Accident: Police investigated an accident at 12:09 p.m. that resulted in minor property damage but no injuries. The incident occurred on Fish Point Road near the Kwik Trip gas station.
Suspicious: Police received a call at 12:23 p.m. from a resident on Winfield Way who suspected someone parked nearby was watching her home. Police made contact with the person in the parked vehicle who said she was waiting for a friend and they would be touring a house listed on the Parade of Homes. Police waited, and the information provided was accurate. The reporting party was informed of the outcome.
Accident: Police responded to a report of an accident at 1:58 p.m. at Kop Parkway, near Lakefront Park. The case has been sent for review of charges.
Traffic Criminal: A 35-year-old man from Jordan was arrested for felony first degree DWI, driving while intoxicated with three or more qualified prior impaired driving incidents within 10 years, felony DWI for refusing to submit to a chemical test, gross misdemeanor driver’s license restrictions, speeding and failure to signal a turn. The arrest was made at 5:32 p.m. near the intersection of Crossandra Street and Itasca Avenue.
Warrant: A 41-year-old man from St. Cloud was arrested for a felony Department of Corrections warrant for which he failed to appear, parole violation and possession of amphetamines. The arrest was made at 6:47 p.m. near the intersection of County Roads 42 and 18.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Manitou Road, 3:23 p.m.; Rolling Oaks Circle, 7:42 p.m.
March 21
Suspicious: A resident living on Maves Trail called police at 6:14 a.m. to report an unknown person was knocking on the door and asking to be let in.
Theft: At 12:32 p.m., police received a report of construction tools being stolen from a construction site on Winfield Way.
Medical: Police responded to the following request for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Wilderness Trail, 12:03 p.m.
March 22
Traffic Criminal: A 44-year-old Apple Valley man was arrested for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI, refusing to take a test, misdemeanor fourth degree DWI, petty misdemeanor failure to drive in a single lane and petty misdemeanor U-turn. The arrest was made at 1:40 a.m. on Highland Avenue.
Accident: Police were called at 4:12 a.m. to investigate a report of a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Mystic Lake Boulevard.
Harassment: A resident of Fox Tail Trail reported at 10:44 a.m. that dog feces had been placed on the front steps of the home, which could have been the result of a dispute with a neighbor. The reporting party declined to pursue charges but wanted the incident documented.
Accident: Two vehicles were damaged in a crash that occurred at 4:11 p.m. on Maplewood Street, near the Prior Lake Dairy Queen.
Accident: An accident was reported at 4:12 p.m. near the intersection of Duluth Avenue and Pleasant Street that involved injuries. The case is pending processing of the information.
Hazard: Police received a call at 9:01 p.m. regarding children riding scooters on the roadways near Franklin Trail and Highway 13.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Turner Drive, 6:26 a.m.; Summer Street, 1:41 p.m.; Crane Court, 3:11 p.m.; Wilds Lane, 5:01 p.m.
