April 13, 2026
Accident: The driver of a post office mail delivery truck struck another vehicle at approximately 11:50 a.m. that was parked on Basswood Circle. The front driver side and rear door were damaged. The mail truck sustained damage to the right rear bumper. Both vehicles were drivable and no injuries were reported.
Property Damage: A 43-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested for felony damage to property and misdemeanor disorderly conduct. The report was made at 12:40 p.m. on Marsh Drive.
Theft: A 56-year-old St. Paul woman was cited for misdemeanor theft at 6:53 p.m. on Sioux Trail.

April 14, 2026
Property Damage: A person reported at 11:49 a.m. that a shelter in Sand Point Beach Park on Crest Avenue had been vandalized. When investigating the call, police found someone had used ketchup and ash to draw swastikas and write swear words on the concrete. The city’s maintenance department was notified.
Civil: A Franklin Trail resident reported to police at 7:49 p.m. that the motorbike he purchased on Facebook Marketplace did not work well. He was advised that it was a civil matter.
Suspicious Activity: Police observed a vehicle parked at Tractor Supply on Highway 13 at 3:07 a.m. The parties in the vehicle were advised of curfew hours and advised to go home.

April 15, 2026
Accident: While fueling a police vehicle at 5:36 a.m. on Dakota Street, the area to the right of the fuel door was dented. A damage log was completed.
Accident: A three-car chain reaction accident occurred at 3:06 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Duluth Avenue. A dump truck reportedly rear-ended one vehicle, pushing it into another. The Minnesota State Patrol arrived at the scene and completed the final report.

April 16, 2026
Accident: A person riding his e-bike at 7:53 a.m. on Duluth Avenue failed to stop at the crosswalk shared at Pleasant Street and hit the passenger front fender of a van that had stopped at the intersection. The bike rider sustained a scratch on his knee and thumb. Several scratches and dents were noted on the van.
Accident: An accident involving a school bus and personal vehicle occurred at Hampton Street and Ferndale Avenue at approximately 8:47 a.m. The driver of the bus reportedly did not swing wide enough for a turn and struck the front of the stopped vehicle. The bus driver stated the accident was her fault. The personal vehicle was driven home and then towed. The bus was drivable. There was an estimated 20 to 30 students on the bus; there were no reported injuries.
Suspicious: Police observed a person at 9:46 a.m. who was having difficulty walking on the path near Fish Point Road and Burr Oak Lane. He declined assistance. A short time later, he could again be seen having the same difficulties and agreed to a ride home. Paramedics were called to check him out. Family members were advised of the incident.
Accident: An accident involving a vehicle and pedestrian was reported at 6 p.m. on Sioux Trail. The accident occurred while the vehicle was being driven at a very low speed. The pedestrian experienced no injuries, and no damage was done to the vehicle.
Hazard: Police received a report at 8:31 p.m. indicating a large piece of debris was located on the southbound lane of the intersection at county roads 21 and 42. Upon arrival, police found no debris.
Accident: No injuries were reported following a two-vehicle collision that occurred at 9:58 p.m. at the intersection of Mystic Lake Boulevard and Mystic Lake Drive. One driver of one vehicle hit the other, causing damage to the driver’s side. Moderate damage was reported on both, but there were no injuries.

April 17, 2026
Warrant: A 29-year-old Eden Prairie man was arrested for five domestic Hennepin County warrants, three domestic warrants that had been issued by Scott County and a misdemeanor for giving a peace officer a false name. The arrest was made at 12:40 a.m. near the intersection of County Road 83 and Wilds Path.
Suspicious: A person living on Tower Street called police at 12:23 p.m. and said she believed her phone calls were being intercepted when trying to call her bank. Police had the woman call her bank again and everything appeared to be in order. She was provided with other information on how to protect herself from scams.
Traffic Criminal: A 53-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested at Lakeside Avenue and County Road 21 at 4:12 p.m. for driving after license revocation, misdemeanor open bottle and misdemeanor weapons violation.
Suspicious: Police received a report from a woman at 5:08 p.m. who said she observed a wallet being thrown outside of a vehicle traveling near county roads 21 and 82. While the officer was searching for the wallet, a vehicle pulled up and said they had observed a cell phone, wallet and cards all over County Road 21. They had stopped to pick them up and contacted the owner. Police followed the reporting party back to their home when the property’s owner pulled up. He had been looking for the items and believed he accidentally left the phone and wallet on the rear bumper of his vehicle before driving off.

April 18, 2026
Stolen Vehicle: A 32-year-old Brooklyn Park man was arrested for felony motor vehicle theft, felony receiving of stolen property and gross misdemeanor burglary. The incident was reported at 2:34 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard.
Fraud: A Winfield Way resident reported to police at 9:16 a.m. that someone attempted to make a purchase at Costco using their credit card.
Threats: A Prior Lake man reported to police at 4:12 p.m. that he received a phone call from a Verizon number that began with “048.” He was told by the unidentified caller that he was to give him money, the caller had access to his information and if he didn’t cooperate, they would come and kill his family. The reporting party shut his phone off and recalled he received a similar call several years earlier. Police advised him that the number is known to be used by spam callers and he should report the incident to the Verizon fraud department.
Hazard: An Island View Circle resident called police at 4:41 p.m. to report a possible gas leak. The Prior Lake Fire Department also responded to the scene.
Suspicious: Police responded to a report at 11:34 p.m. on Maple Lane regarding the engine of a truck being revved and it being driven without lights on. The vehicle was located; juveniles in the truck were advised to leave since they were out past curfew.

April 19, 2026
Burglary: A burglary was reported to police at 3:48 a.m. on Sioux Trail. The case is under investigation.
Traffic Criminal: A 22-year-old St. Paul man was arrested for misdemeanor third-degree DWI. The incident occurred at 4:09 p.m. at Fairway Heights Road and Jeffers Pass.
