April 27, 2026
Warrant: A 25-year-old Golden Valley man was arrested at 3:59 a.m. on McKenna Road on a Scott County probation violation warrant for DWI.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Cleary Trail, 4:06 a.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 7:30 a.m.; Brunswick Lane, 7:26 p.m.; Priorwood Street, 8:53 p.m.
April 28, 2026
Found: Police found four rolls of Copperhead tracer wire laying near Balsam Street and Sunrise Avenue at 12:02 a.m. Its owner was not known, so police placed the wire in the found property unit of the department.
Traffic Criminal: A 33-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested at 12:17 a.m. near the intersection of County Road 21 and West Avenue for fourth-degree misdemeanor DWI, fourth-degree misdemeanor DWI for having a blood alcohol content level of .12 and petty misdemeanor for an expired license registration.
Assault: A 43-year-0ld man from West St. Paul was arrested at 5 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard for domestic assault, causing fear and inflicting harm, and failure to appear for a misdemeanor warrant that had been issued by Beltrami County.
Found: An inoperable cell phone in a red silicone case with a shattered screen was found near the Shakopee Dakota Convenience Store at 8:08 a.m. The item was brought to the Prior Lake Police Department.
Traffic: While on routine patrol, an officer spotted a boy riding an e-bike at 4:51 p.m. near Village Lake Drive and Mushtown Road. The officer asked his age; the boy was 14, two weeks shy of his 15th birthday, at which time he could legally ride the bike. The boy’s mother was called and told of the circumstances. She said she understood, and her son would not be riding the bike during the two-week period.
Welfare Check: Police received a report at 6:19 p.m. regarding a male sleeping in his vehicle near the intersection of Wood Duck Trail and Wilds Parkway. The person had left before police arrived.
Traffic: Police observed someone riding an e-motorcycle on the sidewalk near the entrance to Sand Point Park at 6:53 p.m. The driver was advised of statutes. His father was called to pick up the e-motorcycle.
Traffic: Police observed two e-motorcycles driving on the sidewalk at 8:42 p.m. near the intersection of County Roads 21 and 42. A traffic stop was attempted but the drivers who were wearing face coverings took off, heading north on County Road 83. The officer lost sight of the riders near Valley View Road.

April 29, 2026
Accident: A head-on collision between a van and a car occurred at 8:01 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and 150th Street. Prior Lake Police assisted the Minnesota State Patrol at the scene. One party was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Found: A Husky tool box with a large amount of to0ls was blocking the left lane of traffic near County Roads 21 and 82 at 4:42 p.m. The tools were collected by the officer and brought to the police department for safe keeping.
Traffic: Three juveniles were stopped near the intersection of Duluth Avenue and Eagle Creek Boulevard at 4:23 p.m. Two were on e-scooters, and a 13-year-old was driving an e-bike. Because the latter was under the age of 15, a verbal warning was issued, his mother was called to the scene and she was advised of the violation.
Accident: Two vehicles collided in a parking lot on Highway 13 at 4:52 p.m. The driver of one vehicle mistakenly hit the gas rather than the brake pedal, pulled completely through a parking space and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, and the driver that hit the other car took responsibility for the accident.
Traffic Criminal: A 60-year-old man from Bozeman was arrested for misdemeanor DWI, fourth-degree misdemeanor DWI for having a blood alcohol content level of .13 after two hours, misdemeanor possession of an open bottle and petty misdemeanor driving over the center line. The stop was made at 11:21 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Sunray Circle.

Assault: A 25-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for felony domestic assault by strangulation, felony threats of violence, reckless disregard and misdemeanor domestic assault. The incident was reported at 7:28 a.m. on Waziyata Circle.
Trespass: A 19-year-old Brooklyn Center man was cited for trespassing and obstructing legal process. The incident occurred at 11:42 p.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard.

Traffic Criminal: A 36-year-old Burnsville man was arrested for third-degree DWI, refusal to test, fourth-degree DWI for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, driving after revocation, failure to obey a traffic control device and violating the open bottle law.
Traffic: Police observed three juvenile males on e-bikes at 1:44 p.m. on Fairlawn Avenue and advised the boys and their parents of existing laws and ordinances.
Traffic: A young male was riding an e-scooter at 5:11 p.m. near the intersection of Carriage Hills and Dove Court. The boy’s parent was contacted, and they were advised on the laws and minimum age limit.
