June 22, 2026
Accident: A minor accident was reported at 5:52 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard which involved a car that lightly touched the bumper of a truck that was already parked in the parking ramp. There was no damage detected on the truck.
Accident: A vehicle backing out of a parking spot on Franklin Trail at 4:22 p.m. struck another. Minor damage to both vehicles was noted in the police report, but there were no injuries.
Stolen Vehicle: Police investigated a report made at 4:40 p.m. of a motor vehicle being stolen from Welcome Avenue. The case is under investigation.

June 23, 2026
Hazard: Police assisted at 1:15 a.m. with the disposal of a number of large boxes that had been left on the shoulder of Candy Cove Trail and Highway 13.
Accident: A driver was attempting to park in the Mystic Lake Casino ramp and sideswiped a parked vehicle at 8:31 a.m. Minor damages were noted on both vehicles. There were no injuries.
Found: An Uber driver brought in a black leather Chanel wallet, which a passenger had left in their vehicle, to the police department at 2:39 p.m. The driver attempted to return the wallet to its owner after going back to the drop-off location. Police notified the owner that the wallet had been turned in by the driver.
Accident: A driver attempting to make a left-hand turn onto County Road 82 from Mystic Lake Drive was rear-ended at 4:55 p.m. Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
Accident: A minor accident occurred near the intersection of County Road 42 and Mystic Lake Drive at 8:28 p.m. There were no injuries.

June 24, 2026
Accident: A hit-and-run accident was reported at 11:45 a.m. at 138th Street and Crownline Drive. There were no suspects or actionable leads according to the report.
Civil: A resident on Wilds Parkway called police at 3:23 p.m. to report her house had been struck by a golf ball, breaking a picture window. The caller inquired about criminal charges against the golfer who gave his full information and phone number, while also offering to pay for repairs. Police advised the incident was a civil manner since there was no intent to cause damage to her property.
Theft: A person living on Regal Pass reported at 3:51 p.m. that a Gucci watch had been stolen from his home.
Accident: Police responded to a report of an accident that occurred near Eagle Creek and Lakeside avenues at 7:24 p.m. The driver of one vehicle was traveling eastbound on Eagle Creek when another vehicle attempted to also make a turn from West Avenue, causing the other to swerve to avoid contact and end up in the ditch. There were no injuries. The driver in the ditch requested his own tow.
Accident: A chain-reaction accident involving five vehicles occurred at 8:35 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 42 and Crest Avenue. All were traveling westbound and waiting for the stoplight at Crest to change. The driver of one vehicle admitted to causing the accident while traveling at approximately 35 miles per hour. One driver was assessed by paramedics after stating her chest hurt, possibly because of it hitting the steering wheel after her car was rear-ended. No one was transported to the hospital.
Accident: A report was made to police at 10:20 p.m. that involved a driver traveling near 154th Street and Woodland Circle who hit a deer. Upon arrival, police could not locate the deer. Minor damage was done to the passenger side door and mirror of the driver’s car.

Traffic Criminal: A 32-year-old St. Paul woman was arrested on gross misdemeanor charges for third-degree DWI, operating a motor vehicle, open bottle, and driving without a valid license. The arrest was made at 11:45 p.m. on Arcadia Avenue and County Road 21.

Traffic Criminal: A 50-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for fourth-degree DWI and failure to drive in a single lane. The arrest was made at 2:01 a.m. near the intersection of Highland and Eagle Creek avenues.
Motor Vehicle Tampering: Two reports of motor vehicle tampering were received. One report was made at 7:23 a.m., while the other came in at 11:15 a.m. Both originated from Griggs Street, and the cases are under investigation.
Motor Vehicle: A 47-year-old woman from Edina was arrested for felony receiving of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was recovered on Mystic Lake Boulevard at 1:03 p.m.
Assault: A 38-year-old Mounds View man was arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault at 10:12 p.m. on Mystic Lake Drive.

Drugs: A 39-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for two counts of felony fifth-degree possession. The arrest was made at 2:04 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard.
Disturbance: Police were called to assist in a verbal altercation that occurred at 2:39 p.m. at the DeWitte boat launch, where one person said the vehicle of another person was parked too long in front of the ramp. Officers mediated the situation.
Assist: Police received a call at 8:08 p.m. from a person on Credit River Road who indicated her vehicle was stolen. After taking the statement, the caller remembered she had parked it elsewhere.
Fire: Police received a report of a fire at 9:58 p.m. near Markley Lake. The fire was located and was being tended to by the homeowner. A verbal warning was issued.

Disturbance: Police were called at 2:24 a.m. to an apartment building on Marsh Drive and spoke to a woman who said another tenant put clear packing tape across the frame of the entry door to her apartment. Police removed the tape and advised the person about how to obtain a restraining order.
Found: A purple Schwinn bike was brought to the police department at 1:24 p.m. after being found in a yard off Carriage Hills Road.
