On Thursday, July 16, from 3-4 p.m. in the Prior Lake Library Large Meeting Room, teens ages 12-18 can give old books and magazines a second life by turning them into unique word art. Participants can tear out pages, rearrange words and add their own artistic touches to craft a one-of-a-kind visual poem.
Because seats are limited, registration is required. Sign up online or call the library at (952) 447-3375 starting three weeks before the event. Provide your email address during registration so the host can send you a reminder.
A note on attendance from the library: Since space is tight, register only if you are sure you can make it. If your plans change, let the library know right away so they can offer your spot to someone on the waiting list.
