This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between September 30 – October 7, 2025. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
September 30
Suspicious: A resident living on Lyons Avenue reported a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood. The vehicle was gone when police arrived. The reporting party later called and said the vehicle belonged to his neighbor.
Accident: A two-car collision was reported at 2:07 p.m. near the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and 154th Street. One vehicle was attempting to turn southbound on Eagle Creek from County Road 82, and collided with a car traveling in the same direction, hitting the rear passenger side door. Both vehicles sustained damage, but no injuries were reported.
Accident: The driver of a vehicle traveling on Highway 13 near Dakota Street and Main Avenue collided with a stationary vehicle at approximately 3:38 p.m. The driver stated her water bottle had fallen to the car’s floor and landed under the brake pedal, which prevented her from stopping. No injuries were reported.
October 1
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Shepherd’s Path, 12:20 a.m.; 160th Street, 11:03 a.m.; Carriage Hill Road, 11:10 a.m.; Eagles Circle, 12:20 p.m.; Horizon Trail, 5:47 p.m.; Mystic Lake Boulevard, 7:29 p.m.; Rolling Oaks Circle, 8:49 p.m.; Howard Lake Road, 11:08 p.m.; Park Place, 11:55 p.m.
Accident: A hit-and-run accident that occurred near Eagle Creek Avenue and Marsh Street was called into police at 4:54 p.m. No injuries were reported.
Suspicious: Police were dispatched to a home on Markley Lake Drive after a 911 call was placed and then was disconnected. The resident confirmed the call was made from her phone but it was accidental and there was no emergency.
Traffic Criminal: Police conducted a traffic stop at 11:23 p.m. on Adelmann Street following a center line violation. The driver was arrested for fourth degree DWI.
Suspicious: A Five Hawks Avenue resident called police at 11:41 p.m. to report a suspicious vehicle was parked in a no-parking area. Two people exited the vehicle, walked to a nearby nature preserve area and were located by officers. They soon departed the area.
October 2
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Waterfall Way, 11:28 a.m.; Woodside Road, 2:06 p.m.
Accident: A chain-reaction accident involving five vehicles happened near the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and Quincy Street at 3:08 p.m. The first vehicle was traveling eastbound on Eagle Creek and signaled to make a left-hand turn onto Wagon Bridge Circle. Two other vehicles were stopped behind the first. Two more vehicles approached, with the fifth hitting the fourth, and the chain reaction continued through to the first vehicle. The three middle vehicles sustained disabling damage, according to the police report.
Fraud: Prior Lake police investigated a report of fraud involving a couple that no longer lived together and had split. The woman updated the man’s address with hers. The man was advised to alert the post office that all mail addressed to him should be directed to his home.
Hazard: A report of a dead deer in the middle of the roadway was called into police at 11:38 p.m. The incident occurred near the intersection of Marschall Road and Belmont Avenue. Police located the animal and assisted with moving it from the roadway.
Accident: A two-car accident was reported at 4:37 p.m. near the intersection of Main Avenue and Colorado Street. One vehicle attempted a lane change and hit the other. Minor damage was reported on both vehicles.
October 3
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Village Lake Drive, 1:09 p.m.; Credit River Road, 8:02 p.m.
Theft: At 9:01 a.m., a Kensington Avenue resident reported the theft of a handgun valued at $500 from their vehicle.
Suspicious: An employee at the Prior Lake Post Office reported finding glass jars wrapped in shopping bags hidden in bushes on the property. Police looked at the bags and determined someone had used the jars to can tomatoes.
Accident: A two-vehicle accident was reported at 3:09 p.m. in a parking lot located on Mystic Lake Boulevard. Minor damage was done to both vehicles.
Accident: An accident was reported at 7:28 p.m. near the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and Fish Point Road that involved a motorcycle and car. Each vehicle sustained minor damage.
Suspicious: Police received a call at 8:44 p.m. from a Wilderness Trail resident who reported a man was looking into her neighbor’s vehicle using a flashlight. The man left and then traveled on a scooter, heading toward Blind Lake Trail. Police located the man who admitted looking into the vehicle but denied trying to get inside. Police advised him of the repercussions of motor vehicle tampering.
October 4
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical call with location and time noted: Deerfield Circle, 4:20 a.m.
Found: Police received a report of a bike being found near 154th Street and Mystic Lake Boulevard. The bike had been sitting on the bike path for several days. An officer picked it up and brought it to the Prior Lake Police Department.
Theft: A resident living on Jeffers Court reported at 10:53 p.m. that two vehicles parked in the driveway had things stolen from them.
Suspicious: An automated iPhone crash notification in the area of county roads 42 and 83 was received by police at 3:51 p.m. Dispatch observed using surveillance cameras that a cell phone was in the roadway and was being driven over by vehicles. There was no evidence of a crash when police arrived at the scene.
October 5
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Gateway Street, 12:35 a.m.; Boudin Street, 12:43 a.m.; Carriage Hill Road, 1:14 p.m.; Rutgers Street, 4:52 p.m.
Suspicious: A woman called police at 7:44 a.m. to report a male had followed her while she was walking to work and tried to hold her hand. She did not know where the man was when the call was made but wanted the incident documented.
Suspicious: A Wilds Parkway resident reported that an unknown man attempted to open her front door. Police were shown footage taken by the doorbell camera and it did appear that he had grabbed the door handle. Police patrolled the area but could find no one matching his description.
Disturbance: Police received a report at 10:29 a.m. from a business on Highway 13 that reported someone was disturbing customers and asking them for drugs.
Disturbance: A Green Heights Trail resident called police at 5:55 p.m. to report the drivers of two dirt bikes were parked in front of his home and he didn’t like it. He asked them about their political views and told them to move along. The reporting party said one dirt bike driver indicated he had a sidearm, but drove away shortly thereafter. Police could not locate the bikers.
October 6
Medical: Police assisted with the following medical calls with location and time noted: Mystic Lake Boulevard, 12:53 a.m.; Mystic Lake Boulevard, 1:35 a.m.; Mystic Lake Boulevard, 10:12 p.m.
Found: An Uber driver turned in a U.S. passport that was found in the back of the vehicle she used for transporting customers. Police called the owner informing him it had been found.
October 7
