This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between October 28-Nov. 4, 2025. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
October 28
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Rolling Oaks Circle, 2:16 a.m.; Deerfield Drive, 9:41 a.m.; Bluebird Trail, 7:12 p.m.
Accident: No injuries were reported in a two-car accident that occurred at 7:22 a.m. near Pike Lake Trail and 140th Street. Both drivers were headed north on Pike Lake Trail. The first was stopped when hit by the second vehicle, with its driver stating that his foot came off of the brake, causing the crash.
Theft: A Park Nicollet Avenue resident reported at 11:41 a.m. that three Renaissance mugs had been stolen from her apartment.
Assault: A 52-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested on Dakota Trail for felony first degree driving while under the influence, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance, felony third degree drug possession, gross misdemeanor, driving after cancellation and two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault.
Drugs: Police received a report at 10:06 p.m. regarding a male and female smoking marijuana in a public parking area near Lilac Lane and Wilderness Trail. The vehicle was gone when police arrived.
October 29
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Spring Lake Road, 10:41 a.m.; Sunset Trail, 3:30 p.m.
Accident: A driver traveling near Eagle Creek Avenue and Franklin Trail reported at 2:37 p.m. that a bus cut him off in the roundabout, which forced him to drive in the ditch to avoid a collision. The bus did not stop, and the reporting party did not get a license plate number, bus number or the school district’s name.
Accident: An accident with injuries occurred on Park Nicollet Avenue. The case is pending processing.
Accident: A car struck a deer at approximately 9:35 p.m. near Eagle Creek Avenue and Adelmann Street.

Assault: A 36-year-old North Branch man was arrested on Mystic Lake Boulevard for felony domestic assault by strangulation, felony threats of violence and gross misdemeanor domestic assault.
Suspicious Vehicle: Police received a report of a vehicle that had been parked in the Shepherd’s Path parking lot for six weeks. The vehicle had not been stolen and was not registered to an owner in the area. Building managers were advised the vehicle could be towed.
October 30
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Mystic Lake Boulevard, 4:52 a.m.; Gateway Street, 8:15 a.m.; Hampton Street, 9:31 a.m.; Colorado Street, 9:46 a.m.; Marshfield Lane, 11:04 a.m.; Cates Street, 1:27 p.m.
Unwanted guest: While on routine patrol, police were flagged down at 8:14 p.m. when a woman would not exit the truck in which she was sitting. Officers mediated the situation between the two parties who had been in a verbal argument. The woman walked home without further incident.
Hazard: Police responded at 2:12 p.m. to a report of a gas/chemical hazard on Badger Circle. A gas line had been struck. The Prior Lake Fire Department arrived and ventilated the area.
Suspicious: A Waziyata Circle resident reported to police at 11:54 p.m. that he witnessed his vehicle being driven away from his house. It was later determined that his wife was driving the vehicle without his knowledge.
October 31
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Bluff Heights Trail, 9:17 a.m.; Fish Point Road, 10:24 p.m.
Suspicious: Police received a call regarding a suspicious vehicle that was observed running while parked in a business parking lot off of 160th Street. It was learned that an employee of Domino’s had started his vehicle to warm it up.
Accident: No injuries were reported when a car hit a deer at 6:01 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Candy Cove Trail.
Hazard: A report was received at 9:44 a.m. regarding basketball hoops being in the middle of Markley Lake Drive.
Hazard: The smell of gas was reported at 5:35 p.m. on Crossandra Street. The Prior Lake Fire Department responded to the call.
Animal: A report of a black lab running loose near Fish Point Road and Highway was investigated by police at 12:13 p.m., but the dog was not located.
Accident: Minor damages were reported following a two-vehicle accident that occurred at Marsh and 154th streets at 3:39 p.m. Both drivers were traveling eastbound on 154th.
Arrest: A 54-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested at 3:28 p.m. on misdemeanor charges after violating a domestic abuse no contact order.
Harassment: A report of in-person harassment was received by police at 11:57 p.m. near Cougar Path and Wilds Path. The case is under investigation.
November 1
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Credit River Road, 8:13 a.m.; Gateway Street, 9:35 a.m.
Traffic Criminal: Officers were dispatched at 3:02 a.m. to a hit and run accident that occurred near McKenna Road and Thunderbird Circle. The driver was arrested for third degree driving while intoxicated.
Accident: A minor accident occurred at 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of county roads 21 and 42.
Animal: Police received a report about a barking dog on Frost Point Circle and contacted its owner who said she would bring the dog inside of her home.
November 2
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Credit River Road, 12:25 a.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 12:32 a.m.; Wilds Lane, 5:20 a.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 11:11 a.m.
Suspicious: A resident living near Thornton Drive and Grist Court called police at 6:27 a.m. to report a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood. Police determined it was the local newspaper delivery person.
Hazard: A dead cat was reported at 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Oakland Beach Avenue.
Assist: Police assisted a woman at 2:02 p.m. who was traveling near County Road 42 and Highway 13. She said she ran over a garbage can which became stuck under her car.
Accident: A vehicle traveling northbound on Stonebriar Circle at 5:26 p.m. hit the back end of a parked car, causing moderate damage. No injuries were reported.
Assist: A woman living in a memory care unit on Park Nicollet Avenue called police at 4:55 p.m. to report that staff would not allow her to leave. Officers resolved the situation by letting her speak to her son via a phone call; her son indicated the woman was where she was supposed to be.
November 3
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Shepherd’s Path, 5:01 a.m.; Wilds Lane, 6:32 a.m.; Pointe Pass, 8:57 a.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 1:43 p.m.; Shepherd’s Path, 6:25 p.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 6:38 p.m.; Main Avenue, 8:20 p.m.; Trailhead Lane, 10:36 p.m.
Assault: A 24-year-old St. Paul woman was cited on Mystic Lake Boulevard for fifth degree assault.
Assist: An unknown male came to the police department at 2:02 p.m. to ask about hunting laws in the area. He did not seem satisfied with a referral to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and left abruptly.
November 4
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with times noted: Brunswick Avenue, 10:33 a.m.; Cedarwood Trail, 2:47 p.m.; Island View Road, 6:53 p.m.
Traffic Criminal: Police responded to an accident at 5:14 a.m. on Red Oaks Road where it was reported that a vehicle had rolled and a woman was trapped.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 2:40 p.m. near the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and Quincy Street.
