This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between Nov. 25-Dec. 2, 2025. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
November 25
Drugs: A 36-year-old Shoreview man was arrested on Mystic Lake Boulevard for an active warrant issued by Ramsey County for misdemeanor hit-and-run and felony possession of a fifth degree controlled substance.
Traffic Criminal: A 37-year-old man from Fargo, N.D. was arrested on Mystic Lake Boulevard at 3:29 p.m. for felony fleeing of a peace officer, gross misdemeanor second degree driving while impaired and refusing a test, gross misdemeanor third degree operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, misdemeanor driving after suspension and on a felony probation violation warrant from Nevada.
Traffic Criminal: A 23-year-old Minneapolis woman was arrested on Mystic Lake Boulevard at 9:38 p.m. for gross misdemeanor third degree refusal to submit to a chemical test, DWI fourth degree driving while impaired, misdemeanor open bottle possession, misdemeanor obstructing legal process and interfering with a peace officer.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Jeffers Pass, 10:59 a.m.; Jeffers Pass, 12:11 p.m.; Park Nicollet Avenue, 5:16 p.m.
November 26
Welfare Check: Police conducted a welfare check at 1:54 a.m. after receiving a report of an elderly woman sleeping in her car while parked on Gateway Street. The woman indicated she was homeless but did not require any assistance. She was advised to park in the parking lot so she would not be cited for violation of the city’s ordinance.
Fraud: A Vale Circle resident reported an incident involving fraud at 2:17 p.m. No personal information was provided to the party that had sent an email and initiated the phone call. No money was sent by the resident.
Assist: A mattress came off of a trailer attached to a vehicle traveling near Crest Avenue and 140th Street at approximately 2:30 p.m. Police assisted in managing traffic while the mattress was retrieved and reloaded onto the trailer.
Traffic Criminal: A 44-year-old man from Savage was arrested for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI with a blood alcohol level of .18 and petty misdemeanor failure to drive in a single lane.

November 27
Accident: Police received a report of an accident at 12:51 p.m. that occurred near the intersection of Five Hawks Avenue and Willowwood Street. Officers searched the area and found no evidence of an accident or crash.
Animal: Police responded to a report received at 1:03 p.m. involving a husky that was loose.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 5:38 p.m. near the intersection of 154th Street and Eagle Creek Avenue.
Traffic Criminal: A 45-year-old woman from Lakeville was arrested on Highway 13 at 10:30 p.m. for fourth degree driving while impaired, and failure to drive in a single lane.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Park Nicollet Avenue, 7:42 a.m.; Fish Point Road, 6:33 p.m.
November 28
Traffic Criminal: A 40-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested at 12:41 a.m. on Carriage Hills Parkway for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI with one aggravating factor, misdemeanor driving after revocation, misdemeanor violation of a limited license, misdemeanor failure to drive in a single lane and petty misdemeanor exceeding the speed limit.
Vehicle Tampering: A case involving vehicle tampering was received at 1:43 a.m. and is pending processing. The incident reportedly occurred on St. Paul Avenue.
Welfare Check: Police received a report at 11:36 a.m. involving a woman in a wheel chair near the intersection of 154th Street and Eagle Creek Avenue. The woman was properly dressed, said she was waiting for a bus and needed no further assistance.
Animal: Police were called to the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and 154th Street at 1:51 p.m. involving an injured eagle. The Department of Natural Resources responded and transported the bird to the Raptor Center.
Traffic Criminal: A 37-year-old man was arrested for misdemeanor fourth degree DWI, gross misdemeanor third degree refusal to test, and petty misdemeanor driving without a valid license for vehicle class or type. The arrest was made near the intersection of Highway 13 and Egan Drive.
Accident: A driver told police she pulled out in front of a car traveling on County Road 42, near Crownline Drive and was hit at approximately 4:42 p.m.. No injuries were reported; the parties involved had exchanged information.
Accident: A car hit a deer at 9:34 p.m. near the intersection of 140th Street and Mystic Lake Drive; no injuries were reported.
November 29
Liquor Violation: A 19-year-old man from St. Cloud was arrested at 3:49 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard for a Stearns County warrant for felony fleeing, felony aiding and abetting and misdemeanor underage consumption of alcohol.
Assault: Police received a report at 8:12 a.m. involving a possible domestic assault on West Woodland Trail. A female stated she was being held at gunpoint; one person was arrested.
Accident: A vehicle reportedly hit a fire hydrant at 1:45 p.m. near Wilds Ridge and Wilds Parkway. The driver left the scene. Police inspected the hydrant and found it was in working order and there was no damage.
Accident: A driver of a vehicle traveling on Dutch Avenue at 2:12 p.m. lost control while negotiating a curve, drove into a yard and struck a power pole, snapping it in half. There was minimal damage to the vehicle and it could be driven from the scene. The power company was notified. Police noted there was heavy snow that fell in the area and the roads had now been plowed at the time the crash occurred.
Accident: Police responded to a report involving a FedEx truck that hit the cable of an electric pole at 2:40 p.m. near Martinson Island Road and Lords Street. The driver said he was turning near the intersection and the back of his truck caught the cable, damaging the metal plate. No damage was done to the truck.
Accident: A driver was injured after her vehicle traveling on Shady Beach Trail started to skid, left the roadway and hit a tree at 3:58 p.m.
Accident: Police investigated a report of a downed light pole on Dakotah Parkway, west of the roundabout at Mystic Lake Boulevard, at 5:03 p.m. The pole had been struck by an unknown vehicle. The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community public works employees were on the scene and advised they had no information about when the damage occurred or who was responsible.

November 30
Hazard: A Tower Street resident reported the smell of gas in her home at 11:33 a.m. The Prior Lake Fire Department evaluated the home and could not detect any problem.
Found: A resident reported finding two backpacks at 2:48 p.m. that were abandoned near Hillcrest Trail and Blind Lake Trail. Police were not able to determine the owner and secured them in the department’s evidence locker.

December 1
Hazard: A person living on Fawn Meadow Curve reported at 10:34 a.m. that her electrical outlets were buzzing. The Prior Lake Fire Department responded and handled the call.
Harassment: A woman living on Fox Tail Trail reported at 2:37 p.m. that a person was harassing her on multiple social media platforms, via text messaging and phone calls.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Toronto Avenue, 1:48 p.m.; Blind Lake Trail, 6:53 p.m.; Wilderness Ridge Road, 9:41 p.m.
December 2
Assault: Police answered a call from a woman on Mystic Lake Boulevard who said she and her boyfriend had gotten into a verbal argument over money and she believed she was in an abusive relationship. The parties were advised to separate for the night.
Fraud: A Wilderness Trail resident said he was receiving scam emails that wanted him to click on a link and pay money, which he did not do. He was advised to not click on any links associated with unknown parties.
Accident: A woman called police at 7:42 p.m. to report that her vehicle had been rear-ended by another driver. Information was exchanged between the drivers.
