January 20
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Mystic Lake Boulevard, 11:02 p.m.
January 21
Motor Vehicle: A motor vehicle was reported stolen at 6:53 a.m. from a residence on Timber Crest Drive. The case is pending investigation.
Accident: A minor accident occurred on Simpkins drive at 12:03 p.m. when the driver was attempting to back out of their residence, the car began to slide and hit another vehicle that was parked on the street, which sustained little damage.

January 22
Accident: One car was rear-ended by another near Franklin Trail and Eagle Creek Avenue at 5:43 p.m. The driver of the first vehicle was stopped at the intersection and was hit by the one that was following. Police noted snowy and icy conditions existed. There were no injuries.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Toronto Avenue, 3:54 p.m.; Colorado Street, 10:40 p.m.
January 23
Accident: A driver traveling near Northwood Road and Fremont Avenue at 12:03 p.m. hit an icy patch and hit a parked car. The driver of the car that was in motion sustained minor damage to the passenger side bumper; there was no damage done to the parked car. No injuries were reported.
Animal: A Pleasant Street resident called police at 1:37 p.m. to report that she had made shelters for feral cats in the area and was worried about the extremely cold temperatures. The officer left the caller a voicemail with suggestions on what should be done.
Accident: The driver of a vehicle traveling south on County Road 83 rear-ended another that was stopped for the light on County Road 42 at 4:03 p.m. All parties were wearing seatbelts and declined medical attention. Minor damage was done to both vehicles. Wet and icy road conditions were noted in the report.
Warrant: A 40-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for a Scott County gross misdemeanor warrant for second degree DWI.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Shepherd’s Path, 3:29 a.m.; Walter Street, 9:14 a.m.
January 24
Traffic Criminal: A 50-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested for third degree DWI with an aggravating factor, having a blood alcohol level of .17, improper change of course, failure to signal a turn and failure to drive in a single lane.
Fire: Police were called to Jeffers Pass at 1:18 p.m. after receiving a report of an outdoor fire. Upon arrival, the homeowner was found to be burning brush near a pond in his back yard. The Prior Lake Fire Department extinguished the fire and the resident was advised of city ordinances.
Accident: Slippery road conditions were present when a driver traveling near Park Avenue and Pleasant Street slid into a snowbank at 10:03 p.m. Police assisted the party in getting the vehicle back on the street.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Oak Ridge Circle, 11:07 p.m.; Dakota Trail, 11:28 p.m.
January 25
Hazard: Police were called by a person working for a security company to a residence on Mushtown Road at 12:53 p.m. The reporting party worked for a company that checked vacant homes. Upon arrival, he found a water line had burst overnight which caused major flooding to the basement and ceiling area. Police assisted in turning off the water main.
Harassment: A person living on Rosewood Road called police at 3:21 p.m. to report that a man she dated in 2019 continued to call her and randomly showed up at her residence. The resident was advised of the harassment restraining order process.

January 26
Motor Vehicle: A 39-year-old St. Paul woman was arrested for two felony counts of receiving stolen property and fifth degree possession of methamphetamines.

January 27
