This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between Feb. 3-10, 2026. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
February 3
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Manitou Road, 8:33 a.m.; Tower Street, 10:51 a.m.; Toronto Avenue, 1:55 p.m.; Main Avenue, 8:36 p.m.
February 4
Drugs: A 34-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested at 1:26 a.m. for fifth degree drug possession involving fentanyl and cannabis in an open package, as the driver of a motor vehicle.
Hazard: Police assisted in removing a dead deer from the intersection of Bobcat Trail and 154th Street at 1:58 a.m.

Suspicious: A resident of Deerfield Drive called police at 9:41 a.m. to report that an unmarked black helicopter was buzzing her house, and she had video of the incident. Police called the Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie, and officials there indicated a contractor hired by the Department of Natural Resources was conducting a deer head count for the 2026 hunting season.
Suspicious: A Crossandra Street resident called police at 2:53 p.m. to report that a group of individuals wearing army green clothing had banged on her door and that of her neighbors. The residents were concerned they could be from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Police searched the area and could find no one fitting the description, and returned to the reporting party’s home. After a brief discussion, both parties agreed it was most likely solicitors who had been in the neighborhood. The resident was advised to call if they returned.
Suspicious: A Maves Trail resident called police at 9:06 p.m. with concerns that someone was in her back yard and could have gotten into her home. Officers checked the footprints and determined the prints came from either a rabbit or raccoon. The house was checked and cleared by police.
Medical: Police responded to the following request for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Raven Court, 3:43 p.m.
February 5
Assault: A 43-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for second degree assault with a dangerous weapon and fifth degree assault for inflicting harm. The incident occurred at 5:50 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard.
Warrant: A 23-year-old resident of Prior Lake was arrested on Toronto Avenue at 8:06 a.m. for a felony warrant involving second degree assault that had been issued by Dakota County.
Drugs: A 39-year-old St. Paul woman was arrested at 8:53 a.m. for two Scott County warrants involving felony burglary and felony drug possession, possession of schedule 1, 2, 3, 4 or paraphernalia, felony fifth degree possession of a controlled substance and gross misdemeanor, introducing contraband into a jail.
Accident: A hit-and-run accident occurred at 11:59 a.m. on Deerfield Drive. No injuries were reported.
Accident: Police investigated an accident that was reported at 3:51 p.m. Two vehicles were traveling near the intersection of Highway 13 and Boudin’s Street. One was waiting for a stoplight to turn green and was struck by another from behind. Minor damage was done to the front vehicle but no injuries resulted from the accident.
Drugs: A 48-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested at 9:57 p.m. for fifth degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of pharmacy/legend drugs and two Hennepin County warrants.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: McKenna Road, 5:07 a.m.; Tranquility Court, 9:25 a.m.; Simpkins Circle, 10:43 a.m.
February 6
Stolen vehicle: Police are investigating a report filed at 8:18 a.m. involving a motor vehicle being stolen from Franklin Trail.
Hazard: Police received a report at 10:32 a.m. of a tan sink laying in the middle of the road near Eagle Creek Avenue and Fountain Hills Drive. The area was viewed using a camera that was in the vicinity and it was determined the object was actually a brown paper bag which later blew away.
Suspicious: Police received a report from a parent at 3:10 p.m. who said her daughter had been approached at her bus stop near St. Michael’s School by a man who asked her if she needed a ride. The male was estimated to be in his 40s and was driving a dark red pickup truck. The parent was going to call the school to alert them of the situation and ask that they notify other parents in the area.
Order violation: A 34-year-old Shakopee man was arrested at 10:20 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Franklin Trail for violating a no contact order.

February 7
Assault: A 29-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested at 1:40 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard for felony fleeing of a peace officer in a motor vehicle, felony assault of a peace officer, felony first degree criminal damage to property, gross misdemeanor DWI, refusal to submit to a chemical test and misdemeanor DWI, driving while impaired.
Assault: A 48-year-old man from Dilworth was arrested at 11:15 p.m. for gross misdemeanor domestic assault, gross misdemeanor obstruction of legal process, interfering with a peace officer and misdemeanor fleeing a peace officer.
Medical: Police responded to the following request for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Candy Cove Trail, 7:48 p.m.
February 8
Warrant: A 51-year-old Burnsville man was arrested at 4:34 p.m. on Pleasant Street for failure to appear following a warrant that was issued by Dakota County for driving after revocation.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Fountain Hills Drive, 8:37 a.m.; Sunfish Trail, 2:08 p.m.; Quincy Street, 3:09 p.m.; Fountain Hills Drive, 4:35 p.m.; Cardinal Ridge Trail, 4:46 p.m.
February 9
Hazard: A contractor working on Northwood Road reported at 10:32 a.m. that he had drilled through a gas line. The Prior Lake Fire Department responded to the call.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Jeffers Parkway, 1:51 p.m.; Wilds Lane, 2:06 p.m.
February 10
Assault: A 44-year-old resident of Coon Rapids was arrested at 11:57 p.m. for gross misdemeanor interfering with a 911 call, misdemeanor domestic assault, committing acts to cause fear and misdemeanor domestic assault for intentionally inflecting bodily harm.
